🚨☀️Symptoms of Heat Stroke in Dogs ☀️🚨
With this HOT weather approaching, it's important to know the signs of heatstroke in your dog, as it can be life threatening. We are having local cases of heat strokes in dogs.
Short nose breeds like Boxers, Bulldogs, Frenchies and others are at higher risk so monitor them closely and keep indoors with AC.
Prevention is always BEST, so you can do things like limiting your dog's exercise and outdoor time and making sure they always have access to shade and water to reduce the risk of Heat Stroke.
Do not walk your dog on the sidewalk or asphalt until evening or early morning. The surface temp during the day will burn their paw pads quickly.
These are the signs to look out for on hot days. If you suspect that your dog has heat stroke, seek immediate veterinary attention.
