If I pick up the tomcat that hangs out at daycare and get him healthy enough for adoption (and neutered vaccinated and dewormed), would anyone be interested in taking him or adopting him as a farm cat*?

*No adoption fee...doing this sort of thing is how I give back😉

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!

I am forever grateful for my patients and their families. It is so fulfilling to get to know you and be invited into your homes and take your lifestyles into consideration when formulating treatment plans. I’m thankful for all the wonderful recoveries made this year and thankful for those patients that learned to like me!

Thank you to those who trusted me with the final farewell to their beloved family member. Many times it was our first time meeting and I am thinking of you all during this special time when you are missing them even more. I have special place in my heart for all of you. That aspect of vet med is one of my biggest callings.

Over four years ago I started this as a part-time gig to allow a flexible schedule for family. The response from the community has been overwhelming! I have had situations where I had to prioritize what I take on in order to be available for current clients, final farewell clients, and be present with my family. Thank you to everyone that reached out! I will continue to see if I can fit you in. I am excited for what the future holds for this business.

Finally, thank you to my part-time vet techs, you know who you are! I can do many things by myself, but they make it possible to provide a great surgical experience and take on more challenging situations.

Per doctor's orders and the physical nature of this career, I will be taking it easy this week due to restrictions from having an emergency surgical procedure today.
Thank you for understanding! I will hopefully be cleared in about a week. And I hope you all had a great 4th of July weekend...I bet it was way better than mine😉😂!
And remember to drink plenty of water!

Squeaky, at a whopping 1.8 pounds, made it impossible to work today😍😍😍.
I saw him late last night for hook removal and he didn't let his wounds stop him from rubbing up on the kennel door for attention, blissfully alligator rolling while having his head scratched(he may have rolled right out of the kennel a few times🤣), and being an absolutely lovable endless purr box🤣. I was amazed at his great manners (no play biting or scratching, which is very common in kittens)! His owners did a fabulous job!

These 3 came to visit me in my surgical suite😍😍😍 The last time I saw them they were "fixed" and I loved that they were still so happy to see me❤️. Their owners did a great job!

They had some vaccs updated and got their choice of prevention, Nexgard Plus. Ticks have already been popping up on pets in the last couple weeks. As a solo vet that tailors to the various needs of my patients, I can order in your preferred prevention as long as we have a current vet-client-patient relationship...and you know me, I will either deliver it or send it directly to you!
