All of our volunteers (and their festive pets) want to wish our community happy holidays and the best fortune the New Year can bring!
🥳🥳🥳

May your pet's treat jar never be empty and their bellies always full!
But if their bellies do happen to start gurgling, you know who to contact 😉

We have some big New Year's news!!

To meet the needs of our community, we have moved into a bigger storage unit!
And we were already welcomed by the neighborhood patrol!! 😸 We passed their inspection 🤣
Those of you who have been with us since the beginning, know that we originally had a larger unit, but had to downsize due to financial barriers. We're excited to be able to start holding more food again!
And that leads us to another work in progress. Our director has been working her butt off behind the scenes to try and secure us more sponsors so we can provide more food to the community.

Our 2026 goals are to:
🌟Hold more than one open house each month.
🌟Help out our more outlying areas like East Carbon and Emery County
🌟Identify better long term solutions for community members needing assistance every month.

All of this is possible with your ongoing support! Please continue sharing our posts, donating when you're able, and spreading the word about us to local businesses or organizations who may be able to help us keep functioning!

Our new unit is at Cedar Hills Storage at
350 N Cedar Hills Dr., Price Ut 84501
Unit #103, toward the back near the wash.

‼️ DONATIONS NEEDED ‼️

Our pantry hasn't gotten in our next big shipment for December yet and we are in need of DRY DOG FOOD!
If you have any leftover wallet change from holiday shopping, we'd really appreciate some pennies our way!!
Any size bag and any brand is helpful, but we are most in need of large bags (15+ pound bags).

Brands like Olroy (walmart), Purina dog chow (any store), Retriever (tractor supply), and Pet Pride (Smith's) tend to be the cheapest per pound, but we'll accept any type of food! Filling bellies is our biggest priority ❤️.
If you're online shopping or traveling up north, Petco and Costco have some great affordable options too!

Please message us if you can donate, and we will also post links to donate money in the comments below!
(You may comment as well, but comments are not always responded to as quickly)

Thank you SO MUCH!!

Hello!
Today we wanted to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving, share how thankful we are for this amazing community, and share some FAQ's for the pet pantry for those who are newer here.

• Where are you located?
Currently, we are located at Eastern Utah Self Storage in south Price (351 E 600 S). We are at unit #180.
This address does change on occasion if and when we move units, but we always make a big announcement when this happens.

• Who can get food?
Anyone. We are located in Price, Utah, but we will service anyone who can make it to our storage, no matter where you live. We won't turn anyone away, but our pantry is meant to assist those in crisis situations or supplement low income families & individuals.

• When can I come get food or donate food?
Other than our open-house events, we are by-appointment only. If you show up at an unscheduled time, the unit will be locked and unattended. We can usually find a volunteer for any day of the week, and typically schedule between 10am-5pm. To schedule an appointment with us, please message the pet pantry page and we will set you up with a day and time to meet with one of our volunteers.
If you would like to ship food to us or drop off donations during off-hours, please message us for a private address.

• What's an open-house?
Currently, we receive one bulk donation a month from the larger rescues up north. Whenever this bulk donation gets in, we schedule an open house so we can service as many members of the community as possible at one time. Days and times vary, but it is usually a two-hour window where anyone and everyone can drive up and get food.
We utilize a drive-thru line where people stay in their vehicles, drive up, are serviced, and then exit. We announce our open-houses via Facebook Events, usually with about two weeks prior notice. We do have some strict rules to keep the line moving efficiently, but we announce all of that when we create the event.

• What can I receive from the pantry?
Our main staples are dog food, cat food, and cat litter. All items are subject to availability, but we usually have a variety of wet and dry food. On occasion, we have other items such as potty pads, toys, treats, and apparel such as collars and pet sweaters.

• I have something other than a dog or cat, can you help me?
Unfortunately our pantry isn't set up to hold anything other than cat and dog products. That being said, you're more than welcome to message us still, and we can try to find what you need. But we can't make any guarantees.

• I feed a bunch of outdoor cats, can you still help me?
While we do need to give priority to indoor pets, YES! We would still love to help you however we can. Our community cat colonies need support too and we are so grateful that you took it upon yourself to care for them ❤️

• Can I request specific food for my pet?
It never hurts to ask, but we typically don't honor requests unless your pet has a specific allergy or other dietary need. We try our hardest to cater to your pet's allergies, but since we run solely on donations, we may not have specific brands or allergy safe foods. If you message us about your pet's dietary needs ahead of time, we can ask the community for specific donations.
In addition, if your pet has very specific dietary needs, we recommend that you skip our open-houses and message us for a private appointment instead. Our volunteer team does not have time to search through piles of pet food while trying to service the rest of the line.

• I'm sending you a message, what information do you need?
We don't need any proof that you're struggling, we go by the honor code over here ❤️. But what we will need, is information about your pets so we can make sure we have what you need.
When sending a message, please tell us:
The species of pets you have (cats and/or dogs), how many you have, and roughly what sizes if they're dogs. We'll need to know if you're wanting wet or dry food, or both. And if you have a cat, let us know if you need litter. If you're in need of other supplies like collars, sweaters, toys, treats, etc, let us know about that as well and we'll see what we have in stock.
Make sure you tell us about any allergies in your message so that we can make sure we have something suitable for your pet.

• Do I have to fill out paperwork?
Yes, generally. Sometimes we run out of forms, but usually we have everyone fill out a request form when they get to the storage unit.

• I can't make it to your storage unit, what now?
Whether you can't drive, are homebound, or simply don't have enough gas, we still want to help you! Message us and we will try to find a volunteer who can deliver to you.

• I got turned away, what the heck?!
We will never turn anyone away based on their income level, and we will never judge your situation. We will, however, judge you HEAVILY if you've shown any disrespect to our hard working volunteers. None of our volunteers are paid, in fact, most of them pour hundreds of dollars every single month into keeping us running. They serve our community out of the goodness of their hearts, and we will not tolerate inappropriate behavior or anything that makes our volunteers feel uncomfortable.
If we are simply out of food, we will not turn you away, but we will have to have you wait until we get more donations in.

• It's an emergency, I needed food YESTERDAY!!
We're not miracle workers, though we try to be. We're humans with full time jobs and families. In general, we need at least 24 hours to schedule you an appointment. Wait times can vary greatly though, depending on volunteer availability or if we are waiting to get more food in.
We do understand that emergencies happen, and if you need food urgently, please say so in your initial message. We do try to give priority to emergencies and can sometimes meet up same-day, but please don't count on it.

• How much food will I be getting?
Our volunteers strive to handout enough food to last your pet(s) about two weeks. This can vary depending on how many animals you have and how much food we have in stock.

• Do you accept money donations?
We do indeed! Money donations can be given in cash, check, or online donations through venmo or paypal. We are ran through Carbon Cat & Dog Rescue, and any online donations can be made to them- just make sure you specify its for us in the memo.

We want to give a VERY big thank you to Seven Cordova who sent us a Walmart delivery of cat and dog food!
This will help us keep multiple pets fed this week ❤️

If you'd like to donate food, please comment here or message us for details on where they can be dropped off.
Our biggest need is always the main trio: dry dog food, dry cat food, and cat litter.

If you'd like to make a monetary donation, you can donate to the Carbon Cat & Dog Rescue venmo or paypal, or we accept cash and checks as well.

We've had multiple people ask how/when/where they can donate to us, and though we have replied individually, we'd like to make a general statement as well.

•The best place to bring donations is to our storage unit at 351 E 600 S #180. It is by appointment only though, so please message our page to schedule a time to meet with a volunteer.
•For those who have a hard time pinning down a specific time to meet, we can private message you the address of one of our volunteers, where donations can be dropped off at any time.

For monetary donations, there are a few options.
For cash and checks, you can message our page to donate in person to a volunteer, or you can donate directly at our open houses.
For electronic donations, we utilize the Carbon Cat & Dog Rescue financial accounts and donations can be made to their venmo or paypal at:
