John was finally able to get some new reptiles in!

We got a few beautiful baby bearded dragons, a white-eyed crocodile skink, and baby crested gecko. And then dont forget we still have a couple beautiful ball pythons, Little Foot our baby red-footed tortoise, an Emporer scorpion, a baby Brazilian Blue tarantula, and a juvenile Savanah monitor.

With us booking out about a month right now for full grooms we wanted to give a reminder for our No-Show/Cancelation Policy.

Just a friendly reminder that we require 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments are subject to a 50% no-show fee.

Our groomers depend on their scheduled appointments, so showing up or giving us plenty of notice makes a huge difference. 🧡🐶

One of our groomers has left onto new adventures but we will surely miss her! Due to this we are looking for a part time or full time groomer! Don't worry though Melissa and Chantelle are STILL here and grooming we are just booking out a little faster.
Requirements:
2 years in grooming industry (at least 1 full year as a professional groomer)
Prefer someone who can manage grooming 4-5 dogs a day but prefer quality of quantity.
Hours are flexible but need to be available at least 2 Saturdays a month.
Always have Sunday-Monday off.
We have lots of fun stuff we offer to employees and like to be like a little work family.

Two of our groomers headed to Rocky Mountain Groom Expo in Colorado Springs, CO this past weekend. Both of them started with over 9 hours of continued education and then Melissa our lead groomer competed in 3 different categories and brought home TWO placements!
🏆3rd place in Division B Abstract design with Vixey
🏆2nd place in Entry Extreme Creative with Gypsy

We are proud of our groomers Melissa and Chantelle for going out and continuing education and/or pushing themselves to compete!

Even though Tiffany is leaving onto new adventures and she will be missed we will still have grooming with Melissa (lead groomer/owner over 13 yrs experience)and Chantelle (3 years with Swell and trained by Melissa) 💚. We will be booking up fast though so message us to get scheduled!
We are also still looking for an experienced groomer.

We will be closed this Saturday July 4th and closing early on July 3rd at 5pm so our staff can enjoy the holiday weekend...

Had to add little Chester who is ready to celebrate USA 250 with his blue mohawk!

We hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend!

Remember even though fireworks are banned this year please keep pets inside if near any city firework shows and keep a tag on their collar with all your info in case they do get away. This is one of the busiest weekends for our animal shelters and they are already full. 🐩🐾🇺🇸
