Alf is a stunning 4-year-old grade Quarter Horse gelding standing 14.3 hands tall. He’s a handsome, athletic gelding with a fun personality and all the potential to excel in just about any discipline.

Alf walk, trots, and canters under saddle. He currently needs a little encouragement to pick up the canter simply because he hasn’t done it consistently, but he is willing and improving with each ride.

On the ground, Alf is a pleasure to work with. He stands quietly for bathing, grooming, tacking up, farrier work, and all basic groundwork. He has excellent manners and enjoys having a job.

In the pasture, Alf likes to think he’s the boss, but if another horse challenges him, he’s quick to back down and causes no trouble.

The videos shown were taken during Alf’s first ride in over a year, and you’d never know it. He handled the time off exceptionally well and showed just how solid his foundation is.

Alf is ready for someone to take him in any direction. Whether you’re looking for a fun project to finish yourself or prefer to send him to a trainer for a tune-up, he has all the ingredients to make an outstanding partner. With a little consistency, he’ll be in top shape and ready for his next adventure.

This boy is nothing short of amazing! The trust he has in me makes me so thankful for every moment I get to work with him. Hammer will be available at auction on October 31stat the Bluegrass Mustang Makeover , and I truly hope he finds the home he deserves. He has so much potential and is going to be such a cool guy for someone! I can’t wait to see what his future holds.🔨☘️🩵
