🎄🐾 Christmas came early for the fur kids at Floyd County Animal Shelter! 🐾🎄

UPS just dropped off this incredible haul of donations, and we are seriously blown away. 🥹❤️ Food, puppy food, paper towels, cleaning supplies, treats and so much more — all things we go through constantly while caring for the animals here.

A majority of the packages didn’t have gift notes or names attached, so unfortunately we can’t thank everyone individually, but please know how incredibly grateful we are to each and every person who sent something our way. Every bag, roll, box and bottle makes a difference for these animals. 🐶🐱

We did receive names with a few of the donations, so a HUGE thank you to:

Vince D.
Cindy H.
Melissa G.

And to all of our mystery donors — THANK YOU!! ❤️ You guys showed up for our fur kids in a BIG way, and we couldn’t do what we do without this community.

Just look at all of this! 😭🎁🐾

🚨🐾 WE ARE RUNNING LOW ON SOME OF OUR MOST-USED SUPPLIES! 🐾🚨

Our shelves are getting pretty bare, and we could really use our community’s help restocking a few essentials for the animals in our care. ❤️

Right now, our biggest needs are:

* 🐶 Adult dry dog food — what you see pictured is nearly all we have left.
* 🐱 Dry kitten food — we are down to ONE bag.
* 🥫 Canned kitten food — COMPLETELY OUT.
* 🐾 Dry puppy food — no unopened bags left and only about half a storage container remaining.
* 🧻 Paper towels — only 6 rolls left, and we go through roughly 4–5 rolls EVERY DAY cleaning and caring for the animals.

With the number of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens we care for every day, these supplies disappear incredibly fast.

If you’re able to donate even one bag, one case, or one pack of paper towels, it truly adds up and helps us tremendously. 💕 No donation is too small!

Donations can be dropped off at the Floyd County Animal Shelter during our regular business hours.

🐾 Monday–Friday: 11:30 AM–4:00 PM
🐾 Saturday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
(Or left at the door after hours)
Or mail to 545 Sally Stephens branch Prestonsburg Ky, 41653!

We appreciate our community more than we can say. Please SHARE even if you aren’t able to donate — sharing helps us reach someone who may be able to! ❤️🐶🐱

MOST URGENT:
🥫 Canned kitten food
🐾 dry Puppy food
🧻 Paper towels
🐶 Adult dog food
