Happy Autumn 🍁 Some of you may know the story of the magic pumpkins here at Barnraised 🎃 Every year we get pumpkins from Mortimer Farms to decorate. When the season is over, we smash them up in and around the goat pen. The goats eat some, leave some and nearly every year the seeds take root somewhere and surprise us in the next fall season. It’s so fun to happen upon them. It feels like magic because it always seems that we just happen to notice them one day without even realizing they were growing! 💖 Such fun for the kids!

It got exceptionally warm today, so the bats came out to cool down and say hi to me and one of my kiddos. We cooled them down with some mist and a fan.
Look at those adorable ears!
