Miss Kitty's Cat House At Miss Kitty's Cat House, we find loving homes for stray and surrendered cats. Join us in making a difference for cats!

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we provide food, shelter, and medical care, while fundraising to support our life-saving goals. Miss Kitty's Cat House is a small non-profit, no-kill cat rescue and adoption facility, solely operated by volunteers and donations. We have been granted 501(c)(3) status by the I.R.S. Miss Kitty's is located in a small house at 302 N Alarcon Street in Prescott, Arizona, where

approximately 20 adult cats live and play until they are adopted, with a waiting list for cats to come in when there are vacancies. The cats roam free in the house and are cared for by a variety of dedicated volunteers. The house is at the NW intersection of Sheldon and Alarcon in Prescott. When you visit Miss Kitty's you will meet all of our cats on neutral ground. We shelter cats of all ages and backgrounds. We have cats whose humans have either passed away or are otherwise unable to care for them, rescued cats who were born feral and who have been socialized, or formerly abandoned or abused pets. We also have other adult cats and kittens in foster homes in the Prescott area. The number varies from 50 to 75, depending upon how many fosters are available.

It was love at first sight when these two met! This kind adopter fell in love with our sleek, silky, beautiful little house panther GINA immediately. And Gina was a smitten kitten too. After kisses and cuddles, she climbed right into the carrier and didn’t budge until it was time to go home.

🌟Pet of the week: GREYSON! 🌟

Meet GREYSON

Dignified strength and resilience are characteristics of a special cat named Greyson, one of Miss Kitty’s gentlest residents ever. Greyson is a nine-year-old, short-haired tabby, with patches of dark gray and mostly white legs.
When Greyson arrived at Miss Kitty’s, he needed some TLC, including care for his injured nose, which is now healing beautifully. He also required a dental visit to address an overdue cleaning. Greyson ended up leaving all of his teeth at the dentist’s office, but he’s much happier and healthier now, and his appetite has never been better. His diet includes both wet and dry food and the occasional treat, so having no teeth is no problem at all for this appreciative kitty.

Greyson’s history includes time spent outdoors, but now he enjoys being inside where he’s safe, cared for, and well fed. This gentle kitty is looking for a loving home that will provide him with calm, quiet spaces.

Greyson is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is neutered.

Meet SAMSON 🐱❤️🐾

Who's handsome? The answer is SAMSON. This five-year-old, orange and white male is a classic kitty in the feline world. With his pale pink ears and nose, this fair-haired kitty, like most gingers, is not a sun worshipper, but he is a people worshipper. He loves to meet new humans and charm them with his super cute meows.

In addition to being good-looking, Samson is sweet and sociable, making friends easily and winning hearts wherever he goes.

In his past life, Samson spent time outdoors, but now all he wants is an indoor home with plenty of windows to view birds and lizards. He also enjoys spending time in high places where he can snooze away his afternoons, dreaming about his forever home with a loving family or a special someone.

Because Samson is easygoing and gets along well with his friends at Miss Kitty's, he may do well in a multi-feline home.

If you are looking for a beautiful, friendly, affectionate cat who will provide quiet moments and companionship, handsome Samson may be just the one for you.

Wayne and Wally, best friends for life, are a bonded pair of handsome felines who are looking for their forever home together.

WAYNE is a six-year-old, all black male who loves cozy blankets, cat trees, catios, and playtime with laser light toys. He's a big, brawny boy with a kind, gentle side who can be a little shy at times. However, once Wayne warms up, he becomes a trusting kitty who loves attention, especially brushing to keep his sleek coat soft and silky.

WALLY is a striking orange tabby with distinct auburn markings throughout his short coat. At seven years of age, Wally is calm and confident. He's also a friendly, talkative guy who will engage in conversations with just about anyone. Wally also enjoys playtime, and he'll purr loudly when receiving pets and affection.

These sweet and sociable boys are the perfect pair for any indoor activity you can imagine - gazing at birds through a window, watching a sporting event on TV, snoozing on a soft blanket, or just relaxing by a cozy fireplace with their favorite person.

Wayne and Wally will be happy and content as long as they have a welcoming, loving home with a special someone or family.

Sweet little LORELAI is a one-and-a-half-year-old female kitty with the most unique coat of various iridescent colors. From one angle, Lorelai’s coat is shimmery silver, and from another, it’s dusty rose brown. But whatever color you observe her wearing, Lorelai is a stunning beauty with an exquisite face and gorgeous yellow-green eyes.
Lorelai can often be found in her favorite place, a tall cat tree, where she can view the world around her. She’s also an active girl who’s lightning fast when playing with toys, tunnels, and feather wands.

As a recent mama kitty, Lorelai took exceptional care of her kittens who have since found forever homes. Now Lorelai is looking for the perfect place to call her own. Lorelai has experience with dogs, so she may do well in a home with a calm, friendly canine.
