At Miss Kitty's Cat House, we find loving homes for stray and surrendered cats. Join us in making a difference for cats!

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we provide food, shelter, and medical care, while fundraising to support our life-saving goals. Miss Kitty's Cat House is a small non-profit, no-kill cat rescue and adoption facility, solely operated by volunteers and donations. We have been granted 501(c)(3) status by the I.R.S. Miss Kitty's is located in a small house at 302 N Alarcon Street in Prescott, Arizona, where approximately 20 adult cats live and play until they are adopted, with a waiting list for cats to come in when there are vacancies. The cats roam free in the house and are cared for by a variety of dedicated volunteers. The house is at the NW intersection of Sheldon and Alarcon in Prescott. When you visit Miss Kitty's you will meet all of our cats on neutral ground. We shelter cats of all ages and backgrounds. We have cats whose humans have either passed away or are otherwise unable to care for them, rescued cats who were born feral and who have been socialized, or formerly abandoned or abused pets. We also have other adult cats and kittens in foster homes in the Prescott area. The number varies from 50 to 75, depending upon how many fosters are available.

Meet WH***EY 🐱❤️🐾

WH***EY is a beautiful 10-year-old tortoiseshell girl with a face as unique as her personality! Her gorgeous mix of black, caramel, and golden fur is especially striking on her face, where a dark little nose and beautifully blended markings frame her expressive golden-green eyes. She's truly one of a kind!

If you're looking for a loving companion who enjoys cuddles, lap time, and plenty of affection, Wh***ey might just be your girl! This sweet lady is an absolute love bug who adores being petted, getting tummy rubs, and curling up with her favorite people. She's even known to drool a little when she's especially happy!

Wh***ey is also quite the conversationalist! She loves to chat with her humans and will happily weave around your ankles, making sure you know just how much she adores you. While she enjoys a good snuggle, she still has a playful side and loves chasing a feather wand or finding a sunny spot to stretch out and relax.

Wh***ey can be a little shy when introduced to new surroundings, and sudden noises can startle her. But give her a little patience, a gentle voice, and some loving attention, and her affectionate personality begins to shine. Once she feels safe, she's a devoted little companion with so much love to give.

Although Wh***ey currently shares a room with another cat, we believe she would be happiest in a quiet, peaceful home where she can be the center of attention. A home without other pets or young children would likely be her ideal match.

At 10 years young, Wh***ey has so much love left to share. She's looking for someone who will appreciate her sweet nature, give her time to settle in, and enjoy all the cuddles, conversations, and companionship she has to offer.

Wh***ey is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is spayed.

Big love from a little kitten. 🧡

Say hello to SHRIMP, a handsome 4 1/2 -month-old ginger boy with a gorgeous orange tabby pattern and a whole lot of love to give!

Shrimp may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give this sweet boy a little time to feel safe, and you'll discover the playful, affectionate kitten hiding inside. Once he warms up, he loves cuddles, having fun, and spending time with his favorite people. He's the perfect combination of playful kitten energy and sweet snuggle-buddy charm!

Shrimp is also a social little guy who gets along wonderfully with both cats and dogs, making him a lovely addition to a home with furry friends. He's litter box trained, neutered, and vaccinated, so he's ready to start his next chapter with a family of his very own.

All Shrimp needs now is someone willing to give him a little patience as he settles in, a cozy place to nap, plenty of toys to chase, and lots of love to help him blossom.

At 8 years young, these beautiful long-haired sweethearts are full of personality, affection, and playful energy. They each have their own special charm, making them a wonderful pair!

HOPE is a talkative girl who loves being around people. She's happy to have attention and enjoys interactive playtime with her feather wand. She loves to be curled up in someone's lap, soaking up affection. She may even hop right into your arms for a cuddle!

BO is a handsome, gentle fellow with a heart full of love. While he prefers to snuggle beside you rather than on your lap, he thoroughly enjoys human companionship and being part of the action. He's playful, loves chasing balls and wand toys, and has earned quite the reputation for his impressive biscuit-making skills! Bo is the kind of companion who will happily keep you company throughout the day. Bo is currently sporting a handsome lion cut, showing off his adorable face and fluffy mane. His beautiful long coat will grow back, but for now, he's enjoying his stylish new look!

Together, Bo and Hope are an entertaining and affectionate pair who love playtime, attention, and spending time with their favorite people. Chasing toys, enjoying some pets, or simply relaxing nearby, these two have so much love to give.

🌟 Pet of the week: PEACHES! 🌟

PEACHES, a two-year-old short-haired orange tabby, is a rare find. With her long legs, perfect facial features, wide-set golden eyes, and exotic appearance, Peaches is a supermodel in the feline world.

Peaches is an affectionate kitty, welcoming as much attention as you’re willing to give, especially ear rubs and neck scratches. She leans in for pets, asking for more, and lets you know she appreciates you by purring loudly and gazing at you with looks of love.

This gorgeous girl also enjoys spending time in her cat tree. Peaches can often be found high up in her wall cubby where she will strike a pose to observe her surroundings.

After being the best mama ever and ensuring her kittens are well cared for, Peaches is now ready for the next chapter of her life. If you can provide a forever home for Peaches, she will surely bring you many moments of joy and companionship.

Charming SPENCER is a short-haired, mostly black tabby with hints of gold, stunning markings, and amazing kohl-rimmed green eyes. At four years of age, Spencer is not only spectacular looking but also very charismatic and talkative.

An affectionate and friendly lap cat, Spencer enjoys meeting people, and he will occupy any lap that surely needs a kitty to keep it warm. Spencer is a smooth operator and knows how to encourage humans to give pets and belly rubs.

Spencer enjoys exploring his surroundings and napping in cat trees, but his greatest desire is to be loved by his very own person or family who will shower him with affection and provide the forever home he deserves.
