PAHS thanks everyone who supported us at Pet Palooza on Saturday. Although competing events across the tri-county area reduced attendance, we are deeply grateful to the vendors, supporters, and volunteers who made the day possible. Our vendors created beautiful booths and generously donated highly sought-after items for the PAHS raffle. Vanity Fur offered pet nail clippings and donated all proceeds to PAHSβsupport we always appreciate. The grilled concessions and baked goods were delicious. Thank you to everyone who contributed treats to the bake sale and volunteered at the concession stand. A special thanks to Brian Champion for donating his delicious BBQ to our concession stand--always a big hit. Many other volunteers worked tirelessly to help us organize and run the event, including several youth volunteers who assisted with childrenβs games and dog walking. Kenny kept everyone singing and dancing with his DJ skills and great music. River Region Animal Rescue, assisted by veterinarians, veterinary students, and staff from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, stayed busy throughout the day. Made possible by a Community Cares grant from the Banfield Foundation, the low-cost clinic vaccinated and/or microchipped 120 petsβan incredible service to our community. PAHS staff, Board members, and volunteers also devoted long hours to planning and preparing for the event. Together, we raised $5,193.50 to help us continue caring for homeless pets. PAHS is sincerely grateful to everyone who contributedβvolunteers, supporters, staff, and community members. We never take your support for granted. It takes a village and a county, and you showed us exactly that on Saturday. Thank you for your continued support of PAHS.
