Pratt Area Humane Society PAHS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of stray and homeless pets. "Saving Lives one adoption at a time.." We take all kinds of donations.

Pratt Area Humane Society is a 501(c) non-profit organization. We strive to help pets find their furever homes! We are always looking for volunteers and fosters (call or Facebook message the shelter for more information.) We do have an Amazon wishlist and General wishlist, that is updated often. Remember no donation is too small! We are a fairly small shelter looking to make a huge impact on Pratt county! We have lots of great animals for adoption. Come out, fill out an application and meet the newest addition to your family! Our Hours:
Closed: Saturday, Sunday and Thursday. Operation hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. 10:30am-12:30pm, 2:30pm-5:30pm

Trunk or Treat is quickly approaching! This year we are joining dispatch at the Pratt Police Department for a joint Halloween! We will have cute dogs and plenty of goodies to give! Please drop by and show your support to PAHS and the PD! I want to thank the Dispatchers and the entire police department for working so well with us and promoting our shelter animals!

Meet Jeri! This 3-year-old sweetheart is the total package—spayed, fully vetted, and ready to find her forever home! Jeri is around 50 lbs of love and loyalty. She gets along well with other dogs, has great recall, and absolutely lives for play yard zoomies. She does great with potty training! Many do not see the behind the scenes that goes into each new intake we get. Not only does each animal receive a medical evaluation at time of intake, they also get a variety of medical work done. After the proper 3 day stray hold we deworm, draw blood, test blood work, provide flea and tick treatment, bathe, and provide age approate set of vaccines. There is a lot of time, money and work that goes into making each animal adoptable including spaying and neutering. Please consider the cost and work that goes into each animal as well as the emotional investment that goes into giving them the best care! We are just humans trying our very best to make the most out of the lives they live here.
