Manager Monday!
Last week was my first full week as director and it was such a busy week, but I have good things to share. We had 5 successful adoptions last week! Mango and Gabi were adopted together, Cinder has been adopted, finally brothers Smokey and Bandit were adopted together as well! We kicked off the Blueline Buddies program with the Pratt Police Department and established a few more cooperations with Pratt businesses that we will be sharing in July. We have been cleaning out our shed and have been busy with changing up the interior of the shelter as well! I want to thank everyone for their support and for always showing up for us! I cannot put into words how important the community is for the shelter. I also want to thank our staff for putting in so much extra work this week, Kenzie, Jaylen, and our new hire Amber, you guys are amazing! There are plenty of things in the works for our shelter including some collaborations, fundraisers, and a 4th of July holiday photo shoot.
