Watching Americas Day At The Races this morning. They just told the story of a horse called Never Say Die. One of the coolest horse racing stories I have ever heard. Do you agree?

Big R finished 6th. He was competitive at this level, which is what I was looking for.
Bayou Baby is in the 1st race at Evangeline tonight. This will be her second race and she should run well against this group. 🤞

Big R is in the 9th race at Evangeline tonight. We have dropped him to the lowest level at Evangeline hoping he will find a way to be competitive. 🤞

Respected Mind finished third yesterday. Pretty good considering the winner was a 1/4 million dollar purchase. She is losing focus down the stretch and can run better. This was her third race and she will start putting it all together soon. She broke really well. She gave up a little ground on the turn when the jockey had to check, but gained it back. A hole opened at the top of the stretch and I really thought she might get through and turn it up a notch. However, as I said earlier, she lost focus while tiring down the stretch. You can see her start looking around. The good news is she never quit trying. I think she will make a racehorse. She just needs a little more practice and focus. We are the number 2.

Respected Mind is in the 4th race at Horseshoe Indianapolis today. Post time is 2:43PM. She is a two year old filly that is in her third race. She finished 4th at Keeneland and 5th at Churchill. I think she will run well and is the morning line favorite at 3 to 1. 🤞

Gates Of Eden did not run well. It was his first race and he done a lot of things wrong and a couple of things right. They all know how to run. The trick is teaching them how to race. He will learn a lot from this experience and I expect him to run better in his next race.

Gates Of Eden is in the 1st race at Churchill Downs today. He is a two year old c**t that was entered at Keeneland in April. He had gotten a little rambunctious the night before and we had to scratch him. Churchill runs their Thursday races starting in the late afternoon. Post time is 4PM central. 🤞

Greystar did not run well in the slop at Evangeline. The kickback caused him to hesitate which caused more kickback and he faded to 6th. He is still figuring things out. I think we have him at the right level. I think he will run better with a fast track on his next attempt.

Big R ran well until the stretch and then he was gassed and faded badly. We will go back to the drawing board with him. Meanwhile, Greystar is entered at Evangeline on the 21st. He should be competitive in that race.
