Prairie Grove Pet Supply Pantry

Shannon Meyer dropped of dog food today. We really appreciate your donation and your thoughtful post reminding our neighbors of the different ways they can help support those in our community who could use a little extra help to feed their animals.

Thank you so much for your kindness! 🐾🫶

Thank you Allissa Bodiford for your generous dog food donation to Prairie Grove Pet Supply Pantry. We really appreciate how you took the extra time and energy to divide the dog food into multiple smaller bags to be able to feed many more dogs for the next few days. And you even labeled them!!

To make sure the most number of dogs get a meal, please remember to take only what your dog needs for the next few days. Sharing is caring, and by leaving some behind, you are helping another neighbor feed their dog.

Thank you again, Allison, for helping our neighbors who need a little extra help right now.🐾💕🐾

A quick reminder and clarification about a couple of our community pantries in Prairie Grove:

🥫 The Prairie Grove 24/7 Emergency Food Pantry is for food and other essentials for people.

🐶 The Prairie Grove Pet Supply Pantry is for pet food and pet supplies.

Keeping them separate helps prevent confusion so visitors don’t accidentally pick up items they can’t use.

Both pantries rely on donations and both are equally important, so if you’re able to help, please consider supporting one or both.

Thank you for helping keep our community fed and cared for. ❤️

* Located at the corner of E. Buchanan St. and S. Neal St.
* It’s in the same building as Magnolia Coffee House, but on the S. Neal St. side of the building, across the street from Mock Park.

Thank you so much Madysen Russell (Mady’s Mac) for your continued support of the Prairie Grove Pet Supply Pantry. We love seeing you use your pageant platform to give back and make a difference in our community.

As a young teen, Madysen is setting a lovely example for her peers by showing age is not a barrier to kindness, service, and community involvement. Her generosity and dedication remind us all that young people can make a meaningful impact.

The pets and families the Pantry serves benefit because of the community compassion and commitment to helping others.

Thank you, Madysen, for being such a wonderful example of leadership, service, and kindness.

Record low temperatures in the single digits and below zero are expected overnight. Looks like the extreme cold will continue tomorrow, Monday, and stay in the low 20’s.

Make sure your pets are kept safe and warm.

Tonight might end up as the coldest night of 2026, Arkansas.

Actual air temperatures will be in the low single digits and below zero across the state tonight and into Monday.

This will introduce some very cold windchill values, well below zero for a large chunk of Arkansas.

This is very cold anywhere, but especially cold here for us.

Those without suitable shelter could be at great risk overnight, pets also need to be protected from these conditions.

We will likely remain in the 20’s tomorrow afternoon as well, so no warm air soon.

Wind chill forecast sponsored by Auto Plex Collision Repair. Unfortunately, someone might need them this week.
