Just a quick heads up that I will be closing registration for this camp on Friday 9/25 to allow time for getting shirts ordered and made! Can’t wait to see everyone there!

We’re doing it!
Come join us on Saturday October 10 for our very first Fall Farm Camp! (This IS during VCSC Fall Break)
Play with, care for and learn about horses, chickens, goats, rabbits and more!
As always, we will provide a snack and a camp shirt. We will also be bringing back the ever popular tie-dying, as well as games and crafts!
Spots will be limited, $50 deposit to hold your spot and $50 due at time of camp. Message me with your email, child’s name and t-shirt size to sign up.
(This will be a drop off only camp, as we will be short on space with extra animals. Thanks for understanding!)

✨Fair Week Wrap Up✨
I finally pulled into my driveway at midnight last night, exhausted, sweaty, smelly and questioning my sanity. But a quick look back at the week and all that was accomplished, memories made and fun that was had sure helps! In order to not make 643784 different posts, here’s one long one to summarize it all!

BKSH team: you all carried yourself with sportsmanship, positivity, and did your best. Your perseverance in less than ideal conditions and horses that couldn’t be prepped properly was admirable. I’m so proud to call you “my kids”.

Megan: this team couldn’t be what it is without you. Your hard work, dedication and willingness to help do not go unnoticed. We literally COULD NOT do this without you and you are not thanked enough.

Miah: my senior 🥺 we’ve been on this journey for 10 whole years, and you being able to start and end it with Lark was such a full circle moment. Watching you become the rider, friend, role model and overall human being you are has been such a privilege. I cannot wait to see where your future takes you! Congratulations on Res. Senior Showman and Sr English Champion!

Kynslee: you took on a baby horse and absolutely rocked it! I was so proud of both of you!! The potential is unlimited for you both. And the time you spent with him in the barn all week did not go unnoticed. Keep up the hard work and you will be rewarded. Congratulations on Res. Intermediate Showman!

Sophie: even though it didn’t play out exactly as you’d hoped, you still had such bright moments. Don’t let the bobbles hold you back. You and Biggie will accomplish great things and you have grown so much with him! Congratulations on Intermediate Showman, Jr English Champion and Jr Sportsman!

Eva: You are growing and learning so much with your new horse and the sky is the limit! There were such bright moments-when they get put together, you two will be quite the team!! Thank you for being a great helper all week!

Elliotte: I’m so proud of your showmanship and not letting past events deter you from going out and doing your best! You can do great things-be proud of yourself! Congratulations on Res. Junior Showman and Walk-Trot Champion!

Judd: it’s not easy being the coach’s kid and you handle it like a champ. Mom’s hard on you and you still go out and try your best. You and Soph have unlimited potential as a team and I hope you continue to develop that. Congratulations on Junior Showman!!

Minis: you all looked and performed fantastically! The future is bright with all of you waiting in the wings!

Lastly, to the parents: thank you for entrusting me with your children, your horses and your time and energy. Fair, and shows in general, are long and stressful times, but you all continue to show up and help to build a little community we can all be proud of. Thank you ❤️

This picture doesn’t look like much, but it means a ton! This is the grand champion showman class and the contestants were comprised of first and second place from junior, intermediate and senior showmanship classes and every single one of them were my kids. (Ok, Ava is an adopted kid. But it sounds better if I claim them all!)
Junior Showman: Judd Kleptz & Amazin Dream
Res. Jr. Showman: Elliotte Davitto & RI Sweet or What
Int. Showman: Sophie Angel & A Real Northern Thing
Res. Int. Showman: Kynslee Conwell & Ex Why Zee
Senior Showman: Ava Armstrong & W***y Has Potential
Res. Sr. Showman: Miah Gambill & Larks Classy Visa

It’s going to be amazing watching these young kids grow and learn! I can’t wait to see what next year holds.
