🐰🌾 Fun Fact Friday! 🌾🐰

Did you know a rabbit's nose doesn't twitch just because it's adorable?

A rabbit can twitch its nose up to 120 times per minute! That rapid movement helps it pick up scents from the air and stay aware of its surroundings. Since rabbits are prey animals, their amazing sense of smell helps keep them safe.

Pretty impressive for such a tiny little nose! 💚🐇

Happy Friday from all of us at Amanda's Barnyard Buddies! 🐴🐐🐰🐔

🐴 Happy 3 Months, Luna! 🩷

Our tiny filly is officially 3 months old today!

Did you know? By around 3 months of age, foals are becoming much more confident and curious. They're learning important social skills from the other horses, developing coordination, and spending their days exploring, playing, and practicing the behaviors they'll use for the rest of their lives.

Luna has been growing into such a sweet, inquisitive little girl, and we can't wait to watch her continue to blossom. Happy 3 months, Luna! We sure are lucky to have you. 💕

🐴 Fun Fact Friday 🐴

Did you know a pony isn't just a baby horse?

A pony is a fully grown equine that stays under a certain height. Despite their smaller size, ponies are often stronger for their size than many full-sized horses and are known for being hardy and intelligent.

Small but mighty! 💪🐴

Big thank you to The Charleston House - Assisted Living & Memory Care in Beaver Dam for having the critter crew as a part of their family picnic day! The animals loved the attention and I got to have some really neat conversations with people. What a wonderful time! Thank you again! 🙂

🐐 Fun Fact Friday! 🐐

Goats have incredible balance thanks to specialized hooves that can grip rough surfaces. That's why they're able to climb rocky cliffs and steep hillsides that seem impossible to navigate.

🐐 Fun Fact Friday! 🐐

Did you know goats are one of the few animals that will look to humans for help when faced with a problem they can't solve?

In studies, goats turned to people for assistance much like dogs do, showing just how intelligent and social they are.

Here is Jolene and Lucky chillin in the wheelbarrow 😆
