🐾 A little reintroduction!
I’ve had quite a few new faces following my page lately, so I figured it was time to reintroduce myself and Pauquette Paws! 😊
Hi! I’m Paige, the owner and operator of Pauquette Paws LLC here in Poynette. I opened Pauquette Paws in April 2025 with the goal of creating a small, personal daycare where I could truly get to know every dog in my care.
I believe caring for dogs goes a lot further than simply loving them. I’m Fear Free Certified and certified in Pet CPR & First Aid, completed PackPro & Dog Guru training, furthered my education through the Animal Behavior College Dog Trainer course, and completed a brief internship through Teacher's Pet Training Academy. I’m always continuing to learn about dog behavior, body language, breeds, enrichment options, group management, and training methods.❤️

🏠 My pets are Jake, my Doberman Husky mix, Tiger & Leo, my two orange cats, and Amarillo & Cricket, my two leopard geckos!

💎 In my free time, I enjoy diamond painting and taking Jake to the MacKenzie Center!
❤️ Another passion of mine is finding ways to support rescue dogs. If you’re involved with a rescue and have foster dogs in the area who may be a good fit for daycare, please reach out! I’d love to connect and discuss providing free daycare for eligible foster dogs.
🐶 A little about Pauquette Paws!
Pauquette Paws is a small, kennel free daycare specifically for dog friendly dogs. Since the dogs spend their days together, I’m particular about creating a group where everyone can safely and comfortably coexist. This gives me the freedom to incorporate toys, treats, enrichment, fetch, pools, group activities, and more!
Kennel free doesn’t mean nonstop play, though! The dogs play, nap, relax, and get back up when they’re ready for more. Being able to settle around friends is just as important as being able to play with them.
I’m also a big believer in consistency and predictability. I strongly encourage consistent weekly schedules and similar drop off and pick up times. It helps dogs learn their routine, know which friends they’ll see, and understand what to expect from their daycare days.
One of my favorite parts of Pauquette Paws is seeing what everyone gets up to outside of daycare, too! I have owners who compete with their dogs, work on hunting skills, continue training at home, enjoy lake days and adventures, and so much more. I even have a private Facebook group Pauquette Pawrents , where daycare families can share their dogs’ adventures and accomplishments. 🥰
Keeping Pauquette Paws small allows me to really know the dogs and families who come through my doors, and that’s something I absolutely love about what I do. ❤️
