Gingival Hyperplasia is an overgrowth or enlargement of gum tissue that can partially or completely cover the teeth.

Lilly, the patient in the pictures, is a boxer that came in to see Dr. Davis for her gingival hyperplasia. Dr. Davis recommended surgical removal/ debulking of the gum tissue. Using cautery to help control bleeding, Dr. Davis was able to remove the majority of Lilly's gingival hyperplasia, revealing her teeth that were hidden beneath the overgrown gum tissue!

Lilly is doing great at home and recovering well! Way to go Dr. Davis and her surgical team!!

🚨 Fritz was LOST YESTERDAY in Midlothian, VA 23113 near Castlebridge and Oakengate in Salisbury neighborhood.
Please spread the word for this lost dog by sharing this post.

💬 Owner's Message: "My sweet boy Fritz is missing, and I am absolutely heartbroken. He is 17 years old, and he wandered away from Castlebridge Rd in the Salisbury neighborhood around 8:30 PM on September 17th.

Fritz is a 12-lb black and gray Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. He is partially blind and partially deaf, so he may be very confused, disoriented, or frightened. He is friendly, but please approach him calmly and DO NOT chase him, as he may run when scared. He was not wearing a collar, but he is microchipped.

At 17 years old, Fritz is a very loved member of our family, and we desperately want to get him home safely. 💔 If you are in the Salisbury area, please keep an eye out for him."
