After several months of recuperation to address a knee issue, I am resuming my farrier services and accepting new clients within an hour of Powell, WY, including Red Lodge and Bridger, Montana. As I continue my own healing process, I have established a few essential guidelines. I will not work on horses that do not stand calmly for hoof care. If sedation is required due to pain or discomfort, please arrange for it through your veterinarian, and I will be happy to provide service. To maintain optimal hoof health, I recommend scheduling horses every 6-7 weeks to prevent unnecessary stress on soft tissues. As a Certified Journeyman Farrier with the American Farriers Association, I prioritize ongoing education in anatomy and hoof care, tailoring my trimming and shoeing techniques to each horse's specific needs, job, and environment.
