🚨 Long post alert ‼️
To Our Wonderful Clients 🐾
We want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you for the continued love, support, patience, and trust you’ve shown us. The Parlor would not be what it is today without our amazing clients trusting us with your babies, recommending us to friends and family, and supporting our small business through every stage of growth. We are truly so grateful for all of you. ❤️
As we continue getting busier, we wanted to share a little insight into how our salon operates behind the scenes so everyone can better understand our scheduling and communication process.
The Parlor is owned and operated by just two groomers — Kayelin & Emilee. Alongside us, we have one bather and one dryer helping keep things moving throughout the day. Although we are a very small team, we care for hundreds of dogs and work hard to give every pet the time, patience, attention, and safe handling they deserve.
Because we are hands-on grooming from open to close, we are often unable to answer phone calls during business hours. Between dryers running, barking dogs, bathing, and having dogs on our grooming tables throughout the day, stepping away to answer calls is usually not possible. To ensure our focus stays on the safety and comfort of the dogs in our care, we return voicemails and messages at the end of the workday as time allows.
We also kindly ask for understanding when it comes to after-hours communication. Outside of business hours, we try our best to disconnect from scheduling messages and work-related calls in order to maintain a healthy work-life balance and avoid burnout. Taking that time to recharge allows us to continue showing up every day and providing the best care possible for your pets.
At this time, we have also made the difficult decision to stop accepting new clients. This was not an easy choice, but in order to continue providing quality grooming services and reasonable scheduling availability for our current clients, we need to keep our workload manageable for our small team.
Due to being in our busiest season, we are also temporarily unable to accept walk-in nail trims. We know this may be inconvenient, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through our full schedule each day.
We also want to kindly remind everyone that dropping your dog off early does not mean they will be finished early. Every dog’s grooming appointment is different, and each pet requires varying amounts of time, patience, and individual attention. Unless otherwise discussed, we ask that you please allow approximately 3–4 hours for grooming appointments.
Additionally, we kindly ask that you wait until you receive your pickup text before stopping by the salon. We will always contact you as soon as your pup is ready to go home. When dogs see or hear their owners during the grooming process, they often become excited, distracted, and wiggly. Since we work with sharp grooming tools throughout the appointment, these distractions can create safety concerns for both your pet and our groomers. Allowing us to fully complete the grooming process before pickup helps us keep everyone safe and ensures the best possible grooming experience for your dog.
We understand that wait times, delayed responses, and booking availability can sometimes be frustrating, and we truly cannot thank you enough for the patience and kindness you continue to show us. Your support means the world to our team, and we are so thankful to be trusted with your furry family members every single day.
Thank you for supporting The Parlor. 🐶✨
