Did you know therapeutic laser may be incorporated into some pets’ recovery and pain-management plans?

Laser therapy may be recommended for certain pets dealing with arthritis, mobility concerns, injuries, or recovery following a procedure. It’s noninvasive and may be used as part of a broader treatment plan based on your pet’s individual diagnosis and goals.

Every pet is different, so your veterinarian can help determine whether laser therapy may be appropriate.

Halloween decorations and costumes can be fun for us, but some of those tempting little pieces can be dangerous for curious pets. 🎃🐾

Candy wrappers, costume pieces, glow sticks, ribbons, and decorations can cause problems if swallowed.

Keep small items and treats out of reach, supervise pets around decorations, and watch for signs such as vomiting, drooling, pain, or refusing to eat.

A little prevention can help keep your pet’s Halloween fright-free!

A cough can have more than one cause.

Heart and lung conditions, infections, airway problems, and other health concerns can sometimes cause similar symptoms. Coughing, tiring more easily, fainting, or changes in breathing are worth discussing with your veterinarian.

Rather than guessing at the cause, an exam and targeted testing can help your veterinary team determine what’s really going on, and what your pet needs next.

If your pet develops a new or persistent cough, give us a call. 🐶🩺
