🐾Happy Friday K&S friends

We're back with another pupdate 🐶

A few weeks ago we saved this gentle soul named Nova. 🩷 this sweet girl somehow found herself at our local shelter. She wasn't spayed, she had a large mammary mass and she tested positive for heartworms 😢

We couldn't let her sit in the shelter waiting, so we jumped right in to help her start her healing journey. Fast forward to today Nova is healing from her surgery, and soon she will begin heartworm treatment. She also busted out of boarding today thanks to an amazing foster.

We received her histopath results and they weren't what we were hoping for but we'll take it one day at a time. The mass that was removed came back as Complex Carcinoma Grade 1. What does this mean?! It means Nova has the dreaded C word 😔 but it is low grade. The surgeon that performed the surgery got good margins and there was no signs of metastasis. As of right now Nova is in the clear, but we'll have to keep an eye on her for any new growths that could potentially pop up.

For now Nova is resting in her foster home 🏡 and we'll continue to keep you all updated.

We're starting this morning off with a friendly reminder. Although we've temporarily paused intake, we're still working behind the scenes for the dogs currently in rescue.

For the time being, Krusty & Stokes Rescue has made the difficult decision to pause intake of new dogs.

With increased boarding costs and a personal matter requiring our time and attention, we need to focus on providing the very best care for the dogs already in our rescue.

While we won't be taking in new dogs right now, this isn't goodbye. ❤️

We'll continue sharing pupdates, adoption spotlights, happy tails, behind-the-scenes moments, and all the exciting things happening with our rescue family. We hope you'll continue following along and cheering on the amazing dogs already in our care as they journey toward their forever homes.

Thank you for your understanding, your kindness, and for standing beside Krusty & Stokes Rescue through every season.

🐾Happy Wednesday K&S friends

We're back with another pupdate 🐶

Oliver now known as Havoc is also enjoying the good life.
Him and his brother Hollywood look so much alike ☺️

We are so happy that we were able to give Havoc and his siblings the best chance at finding the best homes 🏡 and this video says it all.

We're back K&S friends with another pupdate 🥰

With so much going on in rescue world 🌎 and our personal lives we forgot to share that Jet and Lyla the last two urgent dogs on last week's list made it safely home 🏡

These two pups were patiently waiting for someone to see them and when we thought hope was lost, we were reminded that it started with a video. A video that was shared and seen by so many people. That video changed Jet and Lyla's lives. And now they are both forever home 🏡 and forever loved 💕

This was only made possible by our village of amazing people. Two more lives saved 🙌🏾 😌

🐾Happy Monday K&S friends

It's time for our first pupdate of the day 😊

Orea the mom to the pups that have all found their forever homes 🏡 is thriving. She's coming out of her shell and finally enjoying life.

Her foster mom sent us this video of her playing with one of her dogs. It makes us so happy to see how different each dog we save acts with a little TLC. Orea formely Daisy came to us super skinny, scared, and just unsure of her surroundings. Not to long after her entering our care we found out she was pregnant.

She did an amazing job taking care of her babies considering she was a baby herself 😥 now fast forward she is spayed, up to date on vaccines and patiently waiting for the right family to see 👀 just how awesome she is.
