These twin boys were bottle babies at our home and have thrived in our environment with horses, chickens and a mini donkey. They are also proud sire(s) to two gorgeous doelings. Over 5 years ago I promised my husband that I only wanted 5 -7 baby chicks - just enough eggs for our family of five. Seven chickens grew into over 100 chickens as we started specializing in breeding funky and fun heritage breeds. I became certified to test flocks for Pullorum Typhoid (NPIP) and did regular AI testing as well. We wanted to ensure that all of our chicks/chickens were healthy and ready to join their new families. During this crazy busy time, we raised Cream Legbars, Red Blue Laced Wyandottes, Silkies, Cochins, Frizzles, Brahmas, Polish, Black Copper Marans and sometimes even more standard egg laying breeds.

In the summer of 2019, we relocated back home to Poway, CA and are EGGcited to start having chickens back in our life!
