Time for some change. If you’re buying a new whip soon consider buying the new FEI legal whips. You might not be in the FEI right now but this rule will find its way to all levels and it’s just more humane.

Grit—or moxie—isn’t something you’re simply born with. It’s something we can build, practice, and teach.

Horses give us plenty of moments when things don’t go perfectly. Grit is taking a breath, staying strong, and continuing to ride forward when it would be easier to give up. Watching this rider keep fighting and get the job done on cross-country made me incredibly proud. The tough moments are where confidence is built—and they make the reward at the finish line feel so much bigger.

Breathe. Enjoy the ride. And Never Stop. 💪🐴

Team Creek had a blast at EI horse trials. I suck at getting photos but some highlights are….

Hazel turned 18 and completed her first prelim (whoop, Whoop!) finishing 4th

Sydney completed her first ever horse trials finishing 9th in the open starter.

Logan completed her first ever BN and won it! Way to smash it kid.

Summer competed her (first) horse BN this weekend and brought home 4th even though they just started getting to know each other in late July.

Mila put in 2 double clear rounds on Fiddy in his first completed beginner Novice for 8th place.

Kayla Hammond who joined us for the weekend with her sister Kelsey got a champ qualify weekend and finished in 2nd place in the open starter.

Unfortunately Archie and Miles horse Cooper got big legs after dressage and had to scratch.

Fanta and I got a 32 in dressage which we were pretty smitten with and then added a tad of time to the clock finishing our weekend on a 35 for 8th place.

What a great show!
