Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (AESC) is looking for Veterinary Assistants, Licensed Veterinary Technicians, and a Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our team!

Being an ER, we see patients in order of severity. At times, this can cause a rather lengthy wait for our more stable patients. Here at AESC, we try our absolute best to uphold the wait times you are quoted upon being triaged or to see you even sooner if possible. Unfortunately, sometimes that plan gets derailed when we have back-to-back critical cases walk through the door.

We know how frustrating, upsetting, and hard this can be. Every patient is extremely important to us, and we do not take asking you to wait lightly. With our furry friends unable to speak to us, the process of examining, diagnosing, and discharging takes a bit longer than with people. Please be patient with our team and know we will see your pet as quickly as we can.

The ER is known for its hustle and bustle fast paced speed. However, what a patient sometimes needs is to be sat with and comforted. Dr. Williams and Rudy bonded while waiting for test results to come in. It is this extra care and devotion that every patient receives in our care. It is in these moments that we can provide a little anxiety relief and love to a furry friend on one of their hardest days.

Many of us tend to forget or push off taking our kitties to the vet, especially if they are indoor only. However, wellness exams are still just as important for our inside only felines. Wellness exams can ensure that your kitty is up to date on vaccines, has their teeth checked for any dental disease or other dental issues, make sure their weight has not fluctuated one way or the other too much, and a quick eye and ear exam is always good preventative medicine. Some offices are booked out rather far, give your veterinarian's office a call and see about getting a wellness exam scheduled for your feline companion today.
