The Ring Prep teams got to try out a new proof today. This is a 4 team figure 8 proof for attention and position. I absolutely LOVE coming up with challenging proofs for the teams in my class. I know summer can be hectic and schedules can be unpredictable, so keep in mind that I offer ring prep drop ins on Monday at noon and 2:30 pm. You can come to any, either, or both classes if your dog knows the excersises through Uiltility. If this looks like something you and your dog would enjoy, send me a text at 484-889-6050 and let me know you'll be stopping by.

BIG weekend last weekend for the teams of Order Restored. 4 new titles, 3 first placements, attitude improvements and stronger relationships all around.

Schatzi the shepherd earned her Prefered Open title.

Jaxx the border collie earned his Rally Novice and first leg of Rally Intermediate.

Boomer the Am Staff earned his Utility title.

Kessler the Malinois earned her Rally Advanced and her big brother Bauer qualified in Rally Masters with a MUCH improved attitude towards competition. Side note, these guys were at Malinois Nationals in a bug venue in a different state.

All of these teams have worked SO hard to get to where they are. Three of them came to me with some training and some developed bad habits. Two of them have been with me from the beginning. Some of these handlers are new to their sports, some have been in it for YEARS.

As an instructor, NOTHING makes me happier than seeing my students find success.

The response to a proposed class at Orchard Hills Training Center in Barto was very positive. As a result, I am happy to announce that registration is oficially open for a Ring Prep class on Mondays from 1 to 2:30, and a Performance Puppy class from 3 to 4. Class is $225 for each 8 week session.

Ring Prep is for dogs who know each of the excersises from Novice, Open, and Utility who are ready to compete or who are actively competing. This class will focus on proofing each excersize for improved ring performance.

Performance Puppy is for puppies and dogs who do NOT know the excersises. This class starts from the very beginning and teaches each skill step by step. It is a 56 week program that will take you and your puppy/dog all the way through Utility skills. At the end of the 56 weeks, you will be ready to go into Ring Prep to prepare for trialing. We will also go over the rules and ring procedures for each level.

I am taking names and reservations for these classes starting now. Please reach out either through Facebook, email ([email protected]) text or voicemail (484-889-6050).

I'm making this post to check for interest in a Competition Obedience class in Barto at Orchard Hills Training Center on Mondays between 1 and 4 pm. I'd like to start the class in early March when the weather is a little better. I'd like to hold a Ring Prep class from 1 to 2:30, and a Puppy Performance class (for any age dog who has NOT learned all of the excersises in each obedience class) from 3 to 4. Please let me know through Facebook messenger, or by calling/texting at 484-889-6050 if you are interested and in which class.
