The grants will provide funding to stream and wetland restoration, innovative stormwater management practices, riparian tree buffer plantings, and more in multiple counties in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

I'd like to recognize the non-profit Big Green. Big Green builds educational gardens in public schools. The goal is to promote youth wellness through food literacy.

This is what we've wanted in Montgomery County for a very long time. I am glad to see this idea is growing throughout the country!
