Some things go smoothly, and some don't. How you handle those moments often dictates your mental attitude going forward; just a few rides into Mango's training, he came in from the turnout with a slight swelling behind his right knee, which I now know contributed to some off moments in his trot work in his first couple of training rides. If this is the first chapter, I can hardly wait to read the rest of Mac's life story. Mac in the winner's circle at the Thoroughbred Makeover Putting the happenings of the thoroughbred Makeover into words is near impossible but I will give it a go! Mac was one of over 450 off-the-track Thoroughbreds that converged on the Kentucky Horse Park to show what can be learned with just nine months of training after the track....

Mac has been a star all week. He is currently in 6th for his Freestyle and will be in the live streamed victory gallop tomorrow around 3.
Mac is also in the top 25 for Dressage out of 120 horses.I am so proud of him and he has been a perfect partner the entire week. More about the event coming soon -
