When the crisp air hits, some of my favorite things to do are make homemade soups and put on good ol' Western shows. I curl up with a wool blanket and maybe eat some hot caramel corn!

Boel, our Bad Betty Versatility buckle winner has done an amazing job training her own mule! She's dedicated to our program and her relationship with Bob! We love watching them improve every year!

As always, we have to thank our office help and volunteers!!!!

Sara Underwood and Chris Harpole are the brains of our scorecards and the ONLY reason for the accuracy behind adding them up 😅 we couldn't do this without these ladies!

We would like to thank our Scribes, Shannon Raie Gaines and Tyler Minden! They bring the judges comments to paper so we can read them and work on things for next time!

Thank you to Rick Minden for running tests and helping out where it was needed!

Also. Thank you to Bryony Shryer for taking some beautiful photos! Especially of our infamous Bad Betty and her lovely ride!

Thanks to everyone who set up the courses and brought extra decorations!!! None of this gets one in one day!!! It takes a lot of planning, organizing and man-power. Our man-power right now is Rick Minden and Tyler, when we have them. The rest is coming from some tough Cowgirls!

Thank you to EVERYONE who offered and was willing to make Bad Betty safe and productive. Everybody was supportive and uplifting. Many offered and were willing to be buddy horses for fellow riders. It takes every person who shows up to make a show safe and successful! We did it!!!

We have our winners for the Bad Betty Versatility Awards!!! These awards come from the scores from our MMC Liberty Trifecta and the Bad Betty Challenge! To win you have to compete in both shows (6 events) with the same horse OR mule!!! It is TOUGH, challenging AND FUN to bring horses to this level! We believe in a well-rounded versatile horse (or mule) at MMC. We love creating a horse or mule that desires to try and work and have fun with us! These winners have worked SO HARD.

These two ladies deserve every award they have won this year! Boel and Bob have taken over all three of our shows in 2026. Liberty, Cowboy Dressage Schooling Show, and now Bad Betty! Highest cumulative scores at all three shows!

And Paula has been training all of her own horses the MMC way for nearly, maybe even more than 20 years!

We appreciate our hard-working true grit cowgirls and Cowboys that have dedicated their horsemanship to the MMC way! It pays off! Not only at our shows, but when people come to us, they gain he ability to excel in many places out in the horse world! Thanks again to everyone who commits!

Now, we have our event winners!!!! In Honor of Marcia's mom, who always won Trail, Ranch and Reining classes at almost every show she went to- we built the Bad Betty Trail Course. Once upon a time, reining was a part of our Bad Betty Versatility Challenge. Now, for the longevity of our horses- we've veered towards Ranch Riding and one of our somewhat new favorites- Working Equitation!
