🐾🐾🐾🩵🩵🩵Please share far and wide, you never know who may see it!! We believe this baby has an owner because he is so well-mannered, well-fed, has clean skin and coat, and is in good body condition.
🙏🙏🙏Yesterday morning Post Falls Animal Control picked this sweet boy up after some amazing people found him after he was either hit by a car or fell from a moving car at Seltice Way and Creation Way in Post Falls. He was in shock and had degloving injuries to his entire jaw, hind leg, tail, and toes with multiple other lacerations and lots of road rash. He was triaged and treated for pain and shock. Luckily his skull, chest, abdominal, pelvic, and limb x-rays showed no broken bones or internal hemorrhage so he was taken to surgery. We were able to successfully close his many wounds and bandage others that were less significant. He had a fentanyl pain patch placed, and antibiotics and anti-inflammatories were started. He rested the remainder of the day and at his bedtime night check he ate a second dinner. Today he is walking on his own without sling support.
He is lucky to have had his rescuers visit him and sit with him. Candace even brought him a stuffed animal and fed him treats. Jacqueline came to visit him after his surgery and told him to keep being strong. Glen came this morning to check on him and give him encouragement. Kristi also came to see him and update the Animal Control’s social media post. 🙏🙏🙏
