🐾Meet Benji - the little dog with a big
heart, just waiting for his person!❤️

Benji is a 1½-year-old Basenji/Chihuahua mix searching for something truly special: a forever home where he can finally feel safe, loved, and understood.

Behind Benji's shy exterior is a sweet, loving little companion with so much affection to give. He may be nervous when meeting new people, and it can take him a little time to feel comfortable, but once he begins to trust you, you'll get to see the loving, loyal side of him that makes him so special. 🥹❤️

Benji isn't looking for just any home. He's looking for his person.

He needs someone who understands that trust takes time, who won't rush him, and who is willing to let him blossom at his own pace.
Someone who will celebrate the little victories, offer reassurance when the world feels overwhelming, and show him that he never has to be afraid of being loved.

For Benji, the perfect home would be a calm, single-family home with no children or other pets, where he can be the center of attention and build a strong, lasting bond with his person. He deserves a home where he can relax, feel secure, and finally let his personality shine.

We know Benji may not be the dog who runs up to greet you the moment you walk through the door. But maybe he's the dog who will one day choose to walk up to you, trust you with his heart, and become your most loyal little shadow. And there is something incredibly special about earning the trust of a dog who needs a little extra time. ❤️

🐶Benji is waiting for someone willing to see the love beneath the fear. Could that someone be you?

Please help us find Benji the forever home he deserves by sharing his story. His person is out there, and we can't wait for the day he finally finds them.🏡💕
