Here's a couple of bird releases, courtesy of Nature's Nanny Wildlife Rehabilitation. We work with other local rehabilitators, for the benefit of the animals. NNWR is where my wildlife rehabilitation passion started, and I still assist with caring for birds at their reconditioning facility.

Shout out to Chris for helping us capture this pretty boy. He is pretty under all that mud/dirt, I promise. Lol. He is the smallest Bald Eagle I've ever seen; barely bigger than an Osprey. No, it is not a juvenile. Bald Eagles do not even start getting their trademark white head and tail until they are at least 2 yrs old. Even then, it is still very mottled. It is hard to tell the age of this one with all the mud, but definitely over 2. Huge thank you to Nature's Nanny Wildlife Rehabilitation for getting this guy the help he needs! It truly takes a village to help our feathered and furry neighbors!

Today's adventures included picking this little family up from the industrial area between London Blvd and High St. They weren't crossing either without playing an unfortunate game of "Frogger." Iykyk. Anyway, here is their happy reunite and sail off...
