Tick season is here, and these tiny hitchhikers are sneaky! 🌿 After every walk, hike, or backyard adventure, give your dog or cat a thorough tick check.

Here are the spots you don't want to miss:
🐾 In & around the ears
🐾 Around the eyelids
🐾 Under collar & neck area
🐾 Under front legs
🐾 Between back legs
🐾 Around the tail
🐾 Between the toes

Part the fur and feel carefully around each area. The sooner a tick is found and removed, the better!

Pretty flowers ≠ safe for pets. 🌸

Some of the most common plants in homes and gardens are actually toxic to dogs and cats. Lilies, tulips, azaleas, and daffodils can all cause serious reactions, and symptoms don't always show up right away.

Toxic plant ingestion can affect the kidneys, heart, and nervous system depending on the plant and how much your pet got into. Even a small amount of certain plants (lilies, especially) can be life-threatening for cats.

Knowing what's in your home and garden is one of the best things you can do to keep your pet safe.
