Another prairie dog video. This is one of the older mama dogs out foraging for breakfast and gathering nesting material. Pups expected soon.😃
As you can see she's so pregnant she can hardly bend around to scratch an itch. 😅
Never a dull moment in desert living. 🏜

Well, its that time of year again when I look forward to PRAIRIE PUPPIES! Adorableness on 4 feet and a tail.
This is a mama prairie dog out pulling grass to line her nest. She'll have 3 to 5 pups a couple of times during late Spring.
However, being the 5 star Desert Diner for the local owls and hawks not too many make it to adulthood.
Definitely see the circle of life when away from an urban jungle.
PS Windows haven't had their Spring cleaning so looking thru Winter sand and dust.

Here at the fun Show Me Reptiles Show at the Lane Events Center in Eugene so you still have time to come come say hello and see lots of critters.
Plus we have several ambassador animals here.
Goes till 5 today Sat and 3 tomorrow.

If any of my FB friends are close to Eugene this weekend I could use help setting up at the wonderful SHOW ME REPTILE SHOW then throughout the weekend at the fairgrounds.
Setup is this Friday from 2-6pm.

This pretty dove has been coming around for a while now. Can't see the brilliant white but wondering if there might be some pied gene's in the mix.
Anyone recognize this color pattern?
It better watch itself though. No hanging out in the open as the owls & hawks have discovered the Desert Diner is well stocked with the finest cuisine in all of Christmas Valley.
