These are the people you trust your pets with… 👀

The ones who will hype your pet up like they’re the main character, tell everyone how cute they are approximately 47 times, and love them past the appointment!

We know dropping your pet off can come with a little anxiety about the unknown, but rest assured, your pets are getting the same love, attention, and care we’d want for our own. 🐶🐱

And yes, we will be thinking about them WAY after you leave 💙

9am - 12pm at the Rose Quarter Commons at the Moda Center.
You and your dog can join a 1.3k walk around the Rose Quarter led by Blaze the Trail Cat and the BlazerDancers!

In addition to the walk, you can stroll through a dog-friendly festival featuring local vendors (like us!), tasty food and drinks, music, raffles, and an obstacle course with games for dogs and humans 🐶

🔹Brooklyn Yard will be closed on 7/4, but Spruce will be open regular hours all weekend (swipe to last slide for details)

🔹To all our colleagues in emergency medicine and shelter services - veterinary and human alike - WE APPRECIATE YOU SO MUCH!
This holiday brings a lot of accidents, injuries, fear, anxiety, and way too many lost pets. It’s emotionally and physically rough on all who work in these spaces, especially when a lot of things are so easily preventable.

🌈Let’s talk about drugs!
The 4th of July is less than 2 weeks away, and this is a terrifying holiday for our pets, but even a little preparation can make a big difference.

Utilizing a mild sedative is a great way to reduce your dogs or cats stress while keeping them far away from both the sky and backyard booms.

If your pet has never tried a medication like this, *now* is the time to call your vet team and ask about options!
It’s important to have time to trial these medications before you need them in order to ensure it is the right fit for your pet.

So get out your low lights and white noise and let those drugs work!

For those of you have had the experience of speaking with Jesica when you call our clinic, you’ve likely felt her genuine compassion and kindness. She has a way of making people feel heard and supported.�.
As a valued member of our team and a core part of our Client Service Representative team, Jesica has spent the last year helping to create the compassionate, supportive experience our clients and patients deserve. Her kindness & dedication is evident every day and in every interaction.
While she’s been with us at Brooklyn Yard for a year, her presence in the veterinary field has been far longer. Jesica has been helping pets and the people who love them since 2019.�.
Today, Jesica is yet again confronted with the return of her cancer and the realities of our health care system in this country. After settling back into life after her first treatment—welcoming a new puppy, settling into a new home, and beginning graduate school—she has learned that her cancer has returned.
As she navigates this unexpected challenge and pursues lifesaving treatment, we want to rally around her the same way she has shown up for so many others.
