< ADVICE FOR TAKING YOUR DOG OUT IN THE HEAT:
●try to get your longest walks in early in the morning before the sun has had time to heat up the pavement too much.
●try to do several short walks during the hottest days to make sure they're not exposed to the heat for too long.
●let your dog walk on the grass as much as they need to.
●get them booties if they'll wear them!
●bring water & give them plenty of breaks.
●find a shady dog park for them to run around & socialize in &/or have a doggy playdate at someone's house!
