Here at Western Pet Supply, our aim is to provide the highest level of service and satisfaction to our customers, paired with a wide range of curated premium foods, toys, and supplies for all of your pet's needs! The idea first started in their garage in 1986 when they decided to make a cedar pet bed for their golden retriever Boohn. Requests from friends and neighbors poured in and before they kn

ew it word of mouth had them filling orders in the thousands. In 1988, they opened the first Western Pet Supply store on Scholls Ferry Road in Portland, Oregon, while continuing to create their original cedar pet beds in the back of the store. That facility quickly became far too small for their growing business and in 1996 they moved the store to it's current location on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. January 2020 brought big changes to Western Pet when Andy and Kim Griggs purchased the business with the plan of keeping it local and family owned. Andy was one of our managers 16 years ago so some of you may recognize a familiar face. Their son Tyler is also back working with us in keeping with the family tradition.

To our patrons:
Due to lack of clarification from the state, the federal government, and all of the CBD brands that we’ve been carrying for the better part of a decade, we have made the difficult decision to stop carrying CBD products of any kind indefinitely. As much as we don’t want to have politics involved, the policies put in place have left us no choice but to stop carrying CBD products altogether. We’d rather not be financially penalized for something that we were not given 100% certainty towards. Luckily, dispensaries can be found right around the corner from us, and as long as you’re looking for broad spectrum CBD products (NO THC), they should be able to find the right solution for your pet, if that’s the route you wish to take. We’re incredibly sorry that we have to do this, but just know that this happens to be a situation that is out of our control. We have a wide selection of non-CBD calming products that are compliant with all government agencies! Come check them out!
