Where your donation would go: We have a herd of 6 senior goats. Some of which require daily medication, special feed, electrolytes in the summer heat, fresh hay, routine health care, and various other expenses that arise. (And that’s just the goats—not the field/barn maintenance or operational expenses!)

All this to be said—we hope you swing by this Wednesday for a bite to eat from Burgerville! When else can eating a burger, onion rings, and a milkshake make you feel SO good?? 😝

Happy 4th of July weekend, everyone! 🇺🇸✨ The herd is ready to celebrate the holiday weekend the best way they know how: with plenty of scritches, sunshine, and afternoon naps.

As you can see from these close-up headshots, our friends have some pretty magnificent — and very sensitive — ears! We know many of you in the community have been worried about how the goats will handle the loud fireworks from the nearby field and we appreciate your love for them so much!

To keep them feeling safe, we have a wonderful team of volunteers taking shifts tomorrow from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM to sit in the barn with them, providing extra comfort, distraction, love, and some bluegrass music to soothe them during the loudest hours. 🐐❤️

Before the nighttime noise starts, the herd is looking forward to a calm, relaxing daytime celebration. If you’re looking for a fun, low-key way to spend your holiday weekend, come drop by and get some goat love!
