Friends of Feral Felines, Maine

Friends of Feral Felines, Maine FoFF is committed to helping feral cats in southern Maine. In time, the colonies' populations shrink due to lack of reproduction.

We humanely reduce the number of feral cats by trapping, neutering, and returning them to their colonies.

Do you enjoy driving?! Are you looking for ways to volunteer and meet new people?

We are in desperate need of volunteers to deliver barn cats to their new homes!
See below for more info!

BARN TRANSPORT/SET-UP: You will deliver feral cats to beautiful farms of all sorts throughout southern and sometimes mid Maine and maybe even New Hampshire and MA. You will get to meet all sorts of animals! alpacas, llamas, goats, horses, pigs, cows, and chickens of all sorts--plus their amazing owners as well.
You will be trained in setting them up in their acclimation kennels (which you will usually transport as well) in their new home. A great way to take in Maine's wonderful scenery while doing something good for feral cats.

TRANSPORT-EQUIPMENT PICKUP: You will pick up equipment (kennels, carriers) from farms once the cats are done acclimating.

Mileage is available at the nonprofit rate unless you wish to pay yourself.

If you would like to be part of FoFF's barn team, please contact the office with your area/s of interest and available hour/s for training.
