Join us for our annual Winter fundraiser! This year, we are expanding our Wreath Workshop into a Winter Festival with kids’ activities, vendors, a gift exchange/abundance table, and more! 🌲🎀 It is free to attend the Winter Festival, but you must buy a wreath workshop ticket if you’d like to make a wreath. Wreaths are available for pre-order to ensure your spot, but we will also have some available for purchase the day of the event. All proceeds support our ongoing programming, such as our K-5 field trip program, our PSU capstone classes, our community garden education, and our free food distribution efforts!
The workshop will take place in our heated greenhouse— locally foraged wreath-making materials and light refreshments will be provided! Children 12 and under can make a mini wreath free of charge. Wreath-making will be self-guided, with tips and support as needed from the LGL team.
Outside, we will have an assortment of vendors for all your gifting needs, along with a gift exchange/abundance table of goodies that are free to take. Please bring any items, produce, or goods you would like to donate for the abundance table! We love gift-giving and want to make it as sustainable and intentional as possible by supporting local vendors and re-circulating items that already exist. For the kiddos, we’ll have pine cone and wood cookie ornament crafting! 🪵🎨
The event will begin at 11 am, but feel free to come anytime between 11 and 3. The last call for wreath-making will be at 2:30 pm. Tickets are on a pay what you can, sliding scale $35-95. We hope to see you there 🧡 Tickets: lglpdx.eventbrite.com
