This sweet face decided the counter was the perfect place to say hello (and maybe request a few treats 👀). We can’t say no to that smile! 🥹🐶

🐾 Wildfire smoke doesn't just affect people, it affects our pets, too.

As air quality changes, taking a few extra precautions can help keep your furry family members safe and comfortable.

🐶 Keep walks short and avoid strenuous outdoor activity when the air quality is poor.
🐱 Keep cats indoors with windows closed when possible.
❤️ Be especially mindful of brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, senior pets, puppies, kittens, and pets with heart or respiratory disease.

⚠️ Watch for signs such as:
• Coughing or sneezing
• Difficulty breathing
• Excessive panting
• Lethargy
• Eye irritation
• Decreased appetite

If your pet is showing any of these signs or is having trouble breathing, please contact your veterinarian right away.

A good rule of thumb: **If the air isn't healthy for you, it isn't healthy for your pet either.**

Stay safe, and don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have questions about your pet's health during wildfire season. ❤️🐾
