⚠️🚨FOSTER HOME NEEDED ASAP IN PNW PLEASE SHARE 🙏🐾

Meet Tater 🐕 This sweet mix breed pup is about 15lbs and only a year old -- he urgently needs a foster home in the PNW. Tater is being surrendered to us this weekend after not playing so well with his cat siblings. 🥹 Tater is not attacking them, however he does want to play with them harder than they want to be played with. This is causing a lot of stress in the home so we have offered to take Tater into our program and find him a new perfect home free of cats 💙🐾

Tater is fully house trained and kennel trained. He walks well on leash and has been to many social gatherings. 🐾 Tater gets along with other dogs and children as well, though he can be a little shy and hide when new strangers come into his home however, he is very quick to warm up--especially for a treat! 💙

Tater is a playful and friendly pup and his family is really sad to have to say goodbye to him...but they know it is what is best for their kitties 🙏

Hi, I’m Kari! 🐶 I was rescued in Todos Santos, Mexico, along with my siblings, about a year ago. I am now I’m ready to find a family of my very own after spending some time at the shelter❤️

I’m 1.5 years old and weigh about 35lbs. I am very friendly with other dogs and love to make new friends. I am ready to start my next chapter and I hope my new family has other pups for me to play with! I think I will also really enjoy the PNW because I LOVE playing in water! 💦 I get along great with children, I walk well and leash, and I’m already crate trained. 💕

I can be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a little time to warm up, and you’ll discover a loyal, loving companion who will be so happy to be by your side. 🥰

Now all I need is YOU! Could you be the one to give me the forever home I’ve been dreaming of? 🏡🐾

So far we have raised $150 of the $700 needed for this months vet and food costs for our shelter 💙
Our shelter is only funded via donations so every dollar really does matter 🐕

We really need to buy some more food for the upcoming weeks as well as get some pups seen by our vet 🙏🙏

If you could spare just $10 dollars today that can cover one vaccine or a partial bottle of medicine needed for some of our medical cases. If you can spare $50 that would cover a whole bag of dog food and a bag of treats! 🥰

Meet Gina and please share her story 🐾💙🙏

Hi, I’m Gina! I’m currently around 2 years old, I love people, other dogs, and am ready to travel to the PNW to find my forever family❤🐕🥰

Let me tell you my story…

I was wandering through the streets of La Paz alone until a kind local rescued me and took me into a their home for a week or so. I thought I had finally found a safe place, but sadly, they were unable to keep me even though they cared about me and wanted to see me thrive. 😔💙

However, I was in luck, just when the family was about to give-up hope in finding me a home she met the manager of Saving Baja Paws. And even more lucky, there was a spot available at the shelter for a small dog. Quickly I was brought to the shelter and my life has been changed forever🐾

Now I’m happy, safe, and having a great time! I love to play with other dogs, going for walks, and I love to take a dip in the pool during these hot summer days 🏊‍♀️🐶 I’m also crate-trained and have been practicing my indoor manners at the managers house. 🥰 I am great with children as well and have been kind to the shelter cats too!

Life at the shelter has been good to me, but what I really want is a family of my own. ❤️ I’m ready for a home where I can be loved, spoiled, and part of the family.

🐾 Meet Bombón! 🐾

My name is Bombón, and I was just a little pup trying to stay safe on the streets when I was rescued. I found shelter at a local shop after being abandonded, and luckily the workers there knew I was too small to be out on my own. I could have easily been hit by a car or hurt by other dogs, so they scooped me up and reached out to Saving Baja Paws for help. ❤️

Thankfully, SBP came to my rescue and I am now safe and sound in my foster home until I get a ride to the PNW.🐾

I’m about 1 year old, spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find my forever family. I get along with dogs of all sizes and even cats! 🐶🐱 I’m playful, sweet, and one of my favorite things is curling up in a cozy bed for a good nap. 🛏️💕I also get along wonderfully with children and love making new hooman friends when they come over and visit. 🐕

Now all I need is a loving family to call my own and a lift to the PNW 🙌

We are sad to announce that today’s car washing event at the Elks Lodge in NE Portland is being moved to a different date. 🥹 major unfortunate circumstances have occurred making the fundraiser not possible today. 🐾 Our paws look forward to planning a new date soon with the Lodge though ❤️

Our paws want to give a special thank you to Yukiko. Our shelter manager and Mexico representative.

Yukiko has been managing our shelter for about five years now and has done an incredible job 🐾 day in and day out she lives on site and cares for over thirty dogs everyday. Luckily her family is nearby and volunteers to help us all the time — just see her grandson in the video!

It’s through all the love and care our pups receive in our shelter that they are able to have such an easy transition to their PNW homes 🐶

So today our paws want to give a huge thank you to Yukiko and her family for always caring for our pups and giving 100% everyday 365/24-7 🥰
