Meet Oliver! This sweet boy is a 3 year old German shepherd mix pup from Mexico. He currently weighs about 55lbs and is the sweetest boy youโ€™ll ever meet. He is a very playful boy who loves cuddles, tennis balls, obedience training routines, treat puzzles and most of all meeting new people. Oliver is crate trained, house trained and LOVES walks and car rides. He walks nicely on leash and would be great for a family with children as well.

Oliver has never shown aggression towards people and loves making new friends. He has never met a cat but has shown very excitable interest when he sees them on walks. Oliver is very food and treat motivated and easily trainable. Oliver is currently in foster care in California but can be moved to anywhere in the PNW within a week.

Oliverโ€™s adoption fee is $200 to help cover his vet visit and transport costs.

It is time once again for us to buy food ๐Ÿพ
This has been one of the hardest years thus far in terms of fundraising, transport options, and adoptions.
The only way we are able to feed these pups is by community donations ๐Ÿ™
We are hoping to raise 10,000 pesos for dog food for the next few weeks ๐Ÿ• Our paws are committed to saving dogs from Todos Santos, La Paz, and all the surrounding areas and we currently have over 30 dogs in our program in Baja. ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿพ That is a lot of food each dayโ€” and we are running low again ๐Ÿ˜ญSo if you can help even by donating just five dollars it would go to help feed our pups these next few weeks ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™

Please consider fostering Millie in the PNW the month of July! She really needs a place to land while her current foster is in the process of moving ๐Ÿพ

Millie has quite the story, but you would never know it from the gentle, loving dog she is today. Rescued in La Paz, Mexico in early 2025 after being found tied behind a fence with a serious injury Millie is now thriving in foster care. Millie weighs about 40lbs, is 7 years old we estimate, and is the sweetest gal, she is patiently waiting for her new family to find her.

Millie is the perfect blend of affectionate companion and easygoing housemate. She is house trained, kennel trained, cat friendly, dog friendly, and adores everyone she meets. Millie has a lower to medium energy level and is happiest spending time with her people, playing with her favorite toys, or curling up on the couch for a well-earned nap. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with just a little patience, her playful and goofy personality shines through.

Millie would thrive in a home with another confident dog who can continue to help build her confidence and show her the ropes. She is currently being fostered with our director and has met a lot of new foster friends, dog sitters, and traveled in the car for many work trips! Millie is thriving and shown us her true silly puppy traits, even at 7 years old this sweetie loves to play with other dogs and gets the zoomies around the yard if you chase her!

All Saving Baja Paws dogs come with our flexible foster-to-adopt program, giving your family the opportunity to ensure that your new companion is the perfect fit before finalizing the adoption.

Millie's adoption fee is $250 for adopters in California, Oregon, and Washington. This fee helps cover a portion of the veterinary care she received in Mexico, as well as the transportation costs to bring her safely to the United States.

If you think Millie could be the missing piece of your family, please complete an application. She has overcome so much and is more than ready to spend her next chapter surrounded by love.

WOW! Our community is really coming out to help 4 pups reach their final destination in the next few days.๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’™
So far we have raise $765 of the $1,500 needed to get Jerry, Lili, Barbra, and Dory to the PNW. We are almost to our goal in just 2 daysโ€”this is incredible! ๐Ÿ™
To help push this fundraiser even more we are asking ALL our followers to take a moment and share this post. ๐Ÿ•

Jerry and Lili were both found on a farm last year in Todos Santos. Jerry was only about 3 months old at the time and Lili was a little over a year old. Both were in rough shape, Jerry and his litter were having a harder time surviving on the farm, and close to perishing before we extracted them. They were all covered in fleas and ticks, and also were lacking in food as you could see their ribs. ๐Ÿ˜”

Dory was left to die in the streets with her brother Bingo - found in La Paz earlier this year both Dory and her sibling were in really terrible and painful conditions when we found them. Her brother Bingo had been hit by a car and needed his eye removed, while Dory had unknown wounds on her. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Barbra was found by a local, and luckily picked up before anything could happen to her in the streets. Being her size she would have been killed by other dogs or easily ran over within days in La Paz.๐Ÿพ

Each of these dogs has had a painful past due to humans. And even though we cannot change their past or erase all the memories for our furry friends โ€” we can change their lives forever and ensure their future by getting them to the PNW.๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ’™

So if you could donate even just a dollar today to help us reach our goal in the next few days our paws, the future families of these 4 dogs, and the new dogs we can now take in because 4 spots have opened up all would be forever grateful. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•๐Ÿฅฐ

Also if you can help house Jerry and Lili the 7th - 13th in the Cabo area please text or whatsapp +1 (541)401-3654, this would save us about $200 so we do not have to make another trip from La Paz to Cabo.

Our paws are in need of some vet and travel bill help. ๐Ÿ†˜This week on the 7th we are sending two lucky pups to Seattle to move into foster homes, and on the 13th sending another two pups to Portland to find their furever families. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜ However this process is getting more expensive every trip it seems, gas prices are rising, vet prices are rising, and even the airlines are raising their rates yearly. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

To send Barbra, Dory, Jerry, and Lili to the United States it will cost $700usd in just cargo kennel fees. To get the proper documents and tests to fly to the USA it will cost us about $395usd. And finally the gas to get from La Paz to Cabo for two times is around $400usd with tolls included. Meaning our paws need to raise about $1,500 to fly 4 incredible pups to the PNW. ๐Ÿ•
All of these pups were found abandoned in the streets of La Paz, or on a farm land in Todos Santos and were entered into our program by community members. ๐Ÿฅฐ Jerry and Lili were found starving on a ranch, and Dory was thrown into the streets of La Paz and had been attacked by other dogs before we found her. ๐Ÿ˜ญ None of these pups had it easy due to humans, and even though we cannot change their past we can change their future. ๐Ÿ™
We have flight days for June 7th and June 13th. Meaning we need to raise at least half of these funds before June 7th. ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿพ

If you can find it in your heart to share daily our posts until this goal is met our paws would be forever grateful. ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ’™
And if you can afford to donate just a dollar it will go towards changing the lives of these 4 dogs, and helping them reach the final part of their journey. ๐Ÿ™

ALSO-- if you can help us in Cabo by fostering two pups the 7th - 13th and taking them to the airport the 13th it would save us about $200usd. So please text or whatsapp (+1) 541-401-3654 if you can help!๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™

Meet Toffee, an adorable 8-month-old puppy looking for his forever home! Currently weighing about 40 pounds, we expect this handsome boy to grow to around 55 pounds when fully grown. Toffee is currently in foster care where he has been charming everyone he meets with his sweet personality and friendly nature.

Toffee is a social, happy-go-lucky pup who loves making new dog friends and would enjoy having canine companions to play with, though he would also be happy as the center of attention in his own home. He loves chew toys, bones, and playtime in the yard, but he also has a wonderful off-switch and is always ready for a nap after a day of fun. With his energy level, Toffee would make a great adventure buddy for hikes, walks, and family outings, while still being content to relax and cuddle at home on rest days.

This smart young dog is kennel trained, walks beautifully on a leash, knows several basic commands, and does very well with children. He is eager to please, enjoys learning, and continues to learn more everyday in foster care. His loving personality and adaptable nature make him a great fit for many different types of families.

Toffee is available for meet-and-greets in Oregon, Washington, or California. All of Saving Baja Paws dogs come with a fantastic flexible foster-to-adopt option. This is a unique opportunity that allows your family to make sure it a perfect match with your new pup.

Toffee is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and current on flea prevention. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving companion, Toffee may be the perfect addition to your family. His adoption fee is $250 to help cover his medical expenses and food costs while in our program.

Jerry is in search of a foster starting June 13th in the PNW! Please share!๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ™
This sweet boy has been in our program in Mexico for a few months now and is finally ready to travel to the PNW to find his perfect family.๐Ÿ˜ But we need your help finding him a foster home -- or even better a new family.
Facts about Jerry:
๐ŸพHe is a silly boy who will steal your heart.
๐ŸพHe is kennel trained.
๐ŸพHe can be a little shy and want to dart away from you the first week when you are introducing him to a new space.
๐ŸพHe has lived indoors with a foster family in Baja for a few months.
๐ŸพHe incredible with other dogs and we would love to see him fostered in a home with other confident pups.
๐ŸพHe is cat and kid friendly!
๐ŸพHe is about 7 months old and 35lbs, we expect him to get no larger than 45lbs.
Honestly--Jerry is a stand up pup and will thrive with almost any family. ๐Ÿ•
We really want a chance to bring him up from our shelter so he can have a better chance at meeting his forever family. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™

If you can commit to fostering for 1 month starting June 13th our paws would be forever grateful and you would be giving Jerry the opportunity of a lifetime. Our team supplies everything from a kennel, food, and toys to make his stay as easy as possible with you. We accept fosters from all over Oregon and Washington.๐Ÿพ
