We just wanted to give a shoutout to Fidelity Charitable for sending us a donation earlier this year 🙏. Not only did their support help us financially with a sick pup of ours but it helped encourage our spirits. It means a lot to have a charitable organization see us, notice and respect our honest work and believe in us enough to send us financial aid.

We want to thank the The Blackbaud Giving Fund as well, for donating to us AGAIN too. 🥹

Incredible supporters of ours through Wishbone's Pet Care recently donated a whopping $1,000.00. They are always, always, always generous to the cause any chance they're able. We appreciate their love and compassion for animal rescue work and we're blessed to know them and have their support.

Animals aren't cheap. Vet care, meds, supplies, food, toys..... it all adds up FAST. We truly couldn't do this work or make an impact on animals in need without your donations and care. Truly blessed and grateful for each and everyone of you. ❤️🐾

We are so excited about our custom and board member made hoodies! Our Treasurer, Taylor, made the 'screen' designs and Jesse, our head volunteer, did the screen printing on the hoodies with fabric paint 🎨. So they are definitely made with a lot of love!

We are selling these hoodies for $45.00 each! All proceeds go directly into our Animal Sanctuary account so we can pay for things like food, vet care, cleaning supplies, toys, property projects and much more! We couldn't help any of these animals without your support. Every act of kindess matters.

Two handsome boys Jinx and Bugs are settling in very well at their foster home 🏡 Lots of exploring and snuggles. They have a wonderful foster and they have each other. Things are good. Only one thing would make it better.....a forever home. 💙🐾

The boys are getting their booster shots at the end of this month and will be fully vaccinated too. 👍

Without fosters, adopters, donators, volunteers and supporters.....rescues and shelters couldn't do what they do. We are so grateful for all of you and so are the animals. 🙏

One of our supporters knows someone who is trying to rehome their Bearded Dragon and Russian Tortoise.

Super tame and laidback never bites will sit on your lap and watch tv all night.eats vegetables,crickets, mealworms. Ithink he’s 2 at Christmas.

Archie has really been enjoying this beautiful weather and is happy in his new foster home. 💙🐾

Shaka is settling into his foster home with us at Wishbone's HQ! He's made a lot of progress in the past 3 days and we're excited to see how far he goes. He is going to make someone a wonderful buddy! 💙

Shaka is an active guy, he is cool with other dogs and cats too. Hasn't taken much interest in the rabbits here either. He even (safely) met Peanut nose to nose! He will flourish with a regular routine, exercise and a little tune up on his manners. He is definitely a good guy!

If he is still available for adoption in a month, you can catch him at Pittsburgh Doodle's (Pittsburgh Doodles) 7th annual event at Allegheny City Brewing on November 8th at 11am. 😉🐾

We're on the hunt for foster homes again! We're constantly phasing in new dogs that need help and the messages never stop coming. We want to be able to say "YES!" more often.

Today is a beautiful day and it's especially beautiful for Bo. 💙✨️ Today is his official adoption day!

Bo has been with us for almost 2 and 1/2 years! He has been in 3 different foster homes....when he landed himself in his 4th....it finally became his last. 🥹🙏

Bo had been dumped by someone and found by a good samaritan with his bunny brother, Luke. His finders got in touch with us and we were able to take them in. Luke was severely disabled and sadly passed away after a few months in our care. But Bo remained strong, healthy and in need of a forever home with someone to love and admire him the way he truly and always deserved.

Magic does happen and it was an absolute delight to see Bo land in foster care with our awesome friend and supporter, Jen! She went above and beyond to make things easy for us and for Bo to feel at home and welcomed. Jen's niece adores Bo and so does her dog, Franny 💘.

By Bo's different behaviors its clear that he is happy and is attached to Jen and her wonderful little family. 🐾 The feeling is very mutual and these past couple months of fostering has been so fun....she just couldn't let him go. 🥹

So much good does exist in the World. Thank you Jen and Bo for the reminder. Love from us always. ❤️

It was a good weekend at Wishbone's!

🔸️Archie went into his new foster home with our friend Amey! He is obviously settling in just fine.

🔸️Bugs and Jinx safely landed in a wonderful new foster home too!

🔸️Shaka is officially here in foster with us at Wishbone's HQ!

🔸️Skor had a fun Saturday night and Sunday afternoon with friends.

🔸️We had a work day at the Sanctuary property and got a lot done with our awesome 'ride or die' supporters, the Millers! 😎
