Flamekissed Farms We compete at ARHA, NRCHA, NRHA & Coastal Empire shows. Dennis & Amanda Pope offer Western lessons emphasizing horsemanship & reining.

We believe in goal driven management. You come to us with a goal in mind & we will help you achieve your aspirations! We breed and sell reining and working bred quarter horses. Our two daughters have ridden for varsity equistrian programs. We are most interesed in reining and horsemanship. Dennis is a registered forester certified arborist and GA cert landscape professional.

My favorite part about being a coach is witnessing the moments when everything finally clicks. There is nothing quite like watching a rider work through a challenge, encouraging them to keep trying, and then seeing that spark in their eyes when they finally understand. Those “lightbulb moments” remind me why I love what I do.

Seeing my riders succeed is even more rewarding than any personal accomplishment. Watching them walk out of the arena with huge smiles, proud of what they’ve achieved, fills my heart with joy. Their excitement is contagious, and seeing their confidence grow reminds me that coaching is about so much more than winning ribbons—it’s about helping young people believe in themselves and discover what they’re capable of.

Horses have taught me lessons that go far beyond riding, and I believe there’s always something new to learn. I love continuing to grow as a horsewoman so I can pass that knowledge on to my riders. Sharing my passion for horses, helping others build confidence, and watching them create their own special bond with these incredible animals is truly one of the greatest blessings of my life. Being a small part of their journey is an honor that I never take for granted.

Everyone, meet Wren! ❤️

This little firecracker is the newest addition to the farm, and we couldn’t be more excited about her future!

Wren is out of Quick Mona Oak, a granddaughter of Hollywood Jac 86 and Doc Oak, and she is by Hollywood Reminants (Hollywood Dun It × Reminic). With a pedigree like that, she’s got some incredible horses behind her.

She’s already showing so much promise with her natural movement, athletic ability, and big personality. We can’t wait to watch her grow, see where her journey takes her, and cheer her on every step of the way.

Welcome to the Flamekissed family, Wren! We have a feeling you’re going to do amazing things. ✨🐴

"Riding horses has taught me so much over the past 2 years, I have learned quicker problem solving skills, multitasking, patience, and so much more. Working with the Popes and their horses has made my life infinitely better.

When we show my favorite class is Horsemanship. It requires memory skills, pre-planning and focus not just on yourself but also preparing your horse for each maneuver all while make sure you both look good. The best way to end a show day is with new memories, pride i how you showed, and maybe a ribbon too"
