🌟🐾 September Employee of the Month: SIMONE! 🐾🌟
For September, we are celebrating Simone as our Employee of the Month while highlighting our featured core value: TeamWORKS! 🤝💙

If there is one thing we can say about Simone, it’s that she is EVERYWHERE. All the time. She may technically be assigned to one area of the hospital, but Simone has never been particularly concerned with staying in her own lane when there is someone else who could use a hand!

🔹 Always Watching, Always Helping
One of Simone’s greatest strengths is how incredibly aware she is of everything happening around her. She has a knack for noticing when someone needs help and jumping in before they even have to ask. She doesn’t wait to be given a task. She sees it, and she gets it done. 💪

On any given day, you might find her resetting exam rooms, cleaning surgical instruments, prepping a patient for surgery, helping another department, or cleaning... well, something. There is ALWAYS something. 🧹😄

🔹 One Step Ahead
Simone doesn’t just help with what needs to be done right now. She anticipates what will be needed next. She makes sure supplies are ready, rooms are prepared, and things are set up conveniently for her coworkers. Those little steps make a BIG difference in keeping a busy hospital moving smoothly.
And on surgery days? Simone is an absolute superstar. ⭐ She can flip a surgery or dental room faster than the technician can recover the patient! She keeps everything moving, organized, and ready for whatever comes through the door next. 🩺🐾

🔹 TeamWORKS for Our Patients, Too
Being a great teammate also means remembering why we are all here. Simone is always aware of the patients throughout the hospital and pays close attention to their comfort. She makes sure rooms are properly prepared for each individual pet and notices when something could be adjusted to make a patient more comfortable. ❤️
Simone is the perfect example of TeamWORKS! in action. She doesn’t think in terms of “my job” or “your job.” She sees what needs to be done, who needs some help, and where she can make things easier for the entire team.

Thank you, Simone, for being approximately twelve places at once and somehow making all of our jobs a little easier in the process! 😂💙

This is an appreciation post and a huge shout out to our amazing boss, Dr. Bowles! 💗
Fridays in the veterinary field tend to get busy at the drop of a hat and you just have to take it all in strides! What better pick-me-up and fuel to conquer the day than some delicious Crumbl Cookies?!

🐱 : Whiskers as Rulers! 📏

Did you know your cat’s whiskers are roughly as wide as their body? 😺

Those amazing whiskers help cats judge whether they can safely squeeze through tight spaces. So when your kitty pauses before entering a box or hiding spot… they might just be measuring it first! 📦🐾

Myth: "Fleas and ticks disappear when summer ends."

Fact: Nope! 🍂 Fleas can survive indoors year-round, and ticks can remain active during surprisingly cool weather. Fall is not the time to automatically stop parasite prevention.
