Dan's Dog Walking and Pet Sitting

09/29/2026

"How could you be doing this? You're walking dogs."
"I'm having fun." 🐾

Meet some of our Pet Care Specialists: a retired psychiatrist, a voice teacher, a wildlife rescue volunteer and an animal lover "to another level." We asked what keeps them here. Their answers were tails wagging every morning, working outdoors, managers who actually care, and a team where the animal's safety always comes first.

In Judd's words, this job is for "anybody who loves animals." If that's you, we're hiring dog walkers and pet sitters across Nassau and Suffolk.

Pup cups on the house. 🐶🍦

We took over a corner of the Glen Cove Street Fair today and every dog who walked by got the VIP treatment — pup cups, treats, a spin of the prize wheel, and more than a few free day passes to daycare. Great danes, goldens, doodles, a very polite beagle, and one pug who knew exactly what he came for.

Thank you Glen Cove for coming out. This is our hometown — our Shore Road facility is a few blocks from where this tent is standing — and days like this are the whole reason we do it.

Missed us? Walking, boarding, daycare, training, sitting and grooming across Nassau and Suffolk. Free temperament test to get started — call or text 516-551-1613 or tap the link in bio.

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOJO! 🎉

Our favorite basset hound celebrated her big day with us, and she did it in style. 💜

✅ Sparkly party hat (worn with maximum dignity)
✅ A photoshoot with her favorite Pet Care Specialist
✅ Birthday cheers from her beagle bestie
✅ A special birthday bowl, licked completely clean
✅ One very dramatic belly-up celebration on the floor

Those ears, that snoot, those eyes… we can't handle it. 🥹

Happy belated birthday, Jojo! Thanks for letting us be part of your party. We hope this year brings you endless belly rubs and plenty of treats. 🐾🎂
