🐾 Is your cat anxious, sick, or just shy?

It can be difficult to tell whether a cat is naturally introverted, feeling stressed, or dealing with an underlying medical issue. Because cats are masters at masking discomfort, behavioral changes often serve as the first clue that something is wrong.

Why a vet visit comes first

Conditions like urinary tract issues, dental pain, arthritis, digestive upset, or thyroid disease can mirror anxiety symptoms.

Before assuming a change in temperament is purely behavioral, a comprehensive wellness checkup helps rule out pain or illness so your feline companion can get the right care. Notice changes in your cat’s routine or behavior?

Could your dog have worms? Know the signs

Intestinal worms (tapeworm, hookworm, whipworms, roundworm) are common in dogs. Look out for these symptoms of worms:

🐾 Diarrhea
🐾 Weight loss
🐾 Increased or decreased appetite
🐾 Mucus or blood in stool
🐾 Dully, dry coat

Different types of worms present their own range of symptoms — or no symptoms and then make pets really sick — so it’s important to get your dog checked out by a veterinarian if you suspect they could have worms. • Little to no urination
• Blood in urine
• Vomiting
• Lethargy
• Diarrhea
• Bad breath
