Allergy season has officially arrived! 🌸🐾

We recently had a visit from the handsome Gus, who came to FastTrack Veterinary Urgent Care because he just couldn't stop scratching and biting at his paws.

Pictured here is nurse Sara gently shaving his paw to clean it up and check out the skin, while Jen provides some expert snuggles to keep him calm and steady. Luckily, it turned out to be a classic case of allergies! We got him all cleaned up, soothed, and sent him home with some helpful medications and of course, the temporary "cone of shame" to let his paws fully heal.

Cats and their toys can sometimes be a tricky combination! Sweet Albie came to see us because he was vomiting up part of his fuzzy worm toy.

Linear foreign bodies and swallowed toy pieces can be very dangerous, so we had to keep a close eye on him. We saw this handsome guy two days in a row to recheck his X-rays 🩻 to make sure everything was moving safely. He was such a massive hit with the staff that he actually got a full 'photo shoot' on both days!

When our furry family members aren't feeling well, getting answers fast is everything. Sweet Beau came in to see us recently because he had lost his appetite and was dealing with some bloody diarrhea.

Luckily, we have in-house bloodwork machines, X-rays, and an ultrasound machine so we can get answers and a treatment plan the very same day. Here are Izzy, McKenna, and Dr. Porter giving Beau a brief ultrasound exam to check on his tummy. He was such a brave boy throughout his diagnostic 'photo shoot'! 📸

This handsome beast of a Maine C**n is named Loki, and he is feeling much better after a little help from our team! 🐾

Loki visited us recently because he had lost his appetite, which is always a sign that something is a bit off. After receiving an anti-nausea injection and some fluids, we are so happy to report that he is back to his normal, majestic self! 🦁✨

We know how worrying it is when your cat stops eating, so we always work around our patients' needs to provide the quick, supportive care they deserve to get them back to their happy routines.

Sometimes being a curious cat can lead to a bit of trouble! Sweet Miso, the beautiful calico being held by Sara, came in to see us after she started vomiting rubber bands. 🧶

As many cat owners know, ingesting linear foreign bodies like rubber bands or string can be very dangerous, so we were glad her family acted fast! 🏃💨 Luckily, Miso brought her emotional support friend along for the ride (held here by Jen) to keep her brave.

We are so happy she’s feeling better, and we want to give a huge thank you to her family for the delicious homemade chocolate chip muffins! 🧁✨ We always love treats, and they definitely made our day!

Sometimes, we get to witness a true miracle! ✨ Sweet Luna Mae was recently involved in a scary accident where she was hit by a car.

Despite the scare, this brave girl stayed in the best spirits! After a thorough exam and some X-rays 🩻, we were so relieved to find that she only had a small open wound on her leg. Izzy and Sara were right there to help her feel safe while we sutured her up and got her on the road to recovery. 🩹

Luna Mae is doing much better now and is back to her happy self! We are so proud of her bravery and honored to have been part of her care team, especially having such a sweet, calming presence like Izzy and Sara there to support her. 🩺❤️

Meet the handsome Cameo, who visited FastTrack Veterinary Urgent Care for a pesky ear hematoma. Because these can be quite uncomfortable, Cameo was sedated so we could safely take care of him.

Here he is getting some post-procedure snuggles from our wonderful nurse, Sara! At FastTrack, we believe in expert care paired with plenty of love. Whether it’s a quick diagnostic check or a sedated procedure like Cameo’s, we make sure our patients feel safe and pampered.

We recently spent quite a bit of time with the beautiful Autumn. She originally came to FastTrack Veterinary Urgent Care because she wasn’t acting like her usual self and had lost her appetite. Since we see all kinds of things here, we were glad to help get her the care she needed.

Autumn ended up visiting us for several days to receive IV fluids for a suspected kidney infection. We are so happy to report that after all those snuggles and treatments, she is doing much better and is now resting comfortably at home! 😋

At FastTrack, we believe every patient deserves expert care and plenty of pampering, especially when they need a little extra help over a few days. We’re so glad Autumn is back to her favorite nap spots and feeling more like herself! 🧡
