This handsome boy Drax decided the wooden stick was just as delicious as the popsicle itself!

Because wooden objects can cause serious trouble in the tummy, our team took a set of X-rays to check things out. Luckily, we saw no evidence of an obstruction! To make his visit extra sweet, Drax even got to enjoy a nice dollop of whipped cream before heading out the door. 😋

He was such a good boy for our team, and we’re so glad he's doing great and safely back home. Stick to the actual ice cream next time, Drax! ❤️

We recently had a visit from the sweet Jules, who came to FastTrack Veterinary Urgent Care after experiencing some complications following a mass removal on her paw.

Pictured here is Nurse Stormi giving Jules all the snuggles and care she deserved! Luckily, after a careful evaluation, all Jules needed was a fresh new bandage and a quick tweak to her medication plan.

She was such a gentle star for our team throughout the whole check-in, and we’re so happy to report that she is feeling and doing much better now!

Wishing you a smooth rest of your recovery, Jules! ❤️

We recently had a visit from the cutest dachshund puppy named Chip, who decided to turn snack time into an unexpected adventure by eating something he definitely wasn't supposed to!

Our team took a few X-rays and caught sight of the mystery item hanging out right where it shouldn't be in his stomach. Luckily, we were able to safely induce vomiting, get the object out, and avoid a more invasive procedure.

Chip was such a little rockstar throughout the whole process! He's feeling so much better now and is safely back home to keep his family on their toes.

We're so glad you're on the mend, Chip—stick to the puppy kibble from now on! ❤️

We recently had a visit from a sweet puppy named Chanel, who was getting pampered at the groomer when they suddenly spotted something unexpected.. a rubber band embedded in her paw! How it managed to get wrapped up and hidden in there? Nobody knows! 🕵️‍♀️

Because embedded foreign objects can be painful and delicate to handle, Chanel was safely sedated so our team could carefully remove the rubber band and thoroughly clean her paw. Through it all, this little girl was an absolute champ. She recovered beautifully from her sedation and was able to head home feeling so much more comfortable.

We are sending Chanel all our love and wishing her a quick and smooth recovery! ❤️

An extra special VIP patient on the schedule today! 🐾💙

When one of our own team members needs help, we wrap them in all the love we’ve got! We recently spent some time caring for Copper, the sweet pup belonging to one of our very own receptionists, Ayla.

Copper visited us because he was dealing with some progressive lameness in his hind legs. Our team took some X-rays to get a clearer picture of what’s going on and started him on a medication plan to help get him comfortable.

Having a pet who isn't feeling 100% is tough for anyone, even when you work in vet medicine! We’re sending all our love and positive vibes to Ayla and Copper, and we’re hoping this treatment plan brings him the relief he deserves.

We’re all cheering for you, sweet Copper! Get well soon!

Hook, line, and... wait a minute, that’s not a fish! 🎣🐶

We recently had a visit from a sweet pup named Pebbles, who took the phrase "catch of the day" a little too literally and accidentally got a fish hook stuck in her mouth! 😳

Pebbles was a real trooper, but because fish hooks can be tricky and painful to remove, our team safely sedated her to get it out. Luckily, we were able to remove the hook smoothly without any extensive damage, and she was able to head home safely.

We are happy to report that Pebbles is doing much better now and is safely back to her normal, non-fishing routine! 🐟❌

At FastTrack, we're always ready to handle those unexpected, chaotic moments—hook, line, and sinker.

Stay safe out there by the water, Pebbles! ❤️
