From routine check-ups to advanced care, we’re here to keep your furry friends happy and healthy at every stage of life. Dr. Fox is proud of his accomplishments, which anyone can see as they drive down Port St. He is the proud father of two wonderful children, Terry and Melissa. He enjoys working with dogs, cats, marine mammals, and specializes in tortoises. After 15 years of owning his own practi

ce, he sold it to the Vet Centers of America, to pursue his dream of working on marine mammals. He did an internship in marine mammal medicine, but missed having his own practice. He spent months finding a town where his expertise would be needed. Lucie fit the picture and he eventually purchased an old house that he transformed into a beautifully decorated state-of-the-art animal hospital. Dr. Fox enjoys giving back to the community as often as possible. He coaches soccer in his spare time and partners with the Humane Society Of St. Lucie on public awareness on several subjects. Dr. Fox also works closely with St. Lucie County Animal Control on rehabilitation of injured pets and wildlife. In May of this year Dr. Fox was presented with the AWARD OF GRATITUDE from the Humane Society of St.

Welcome to summer! A time for you and your pet to enjoy some great weather, quality time and more time to observe your baby. As our pet's age, just like with us, illness' and ailments begin to appear. It is important to realize these changes early so that we can offer your pet a longer, more enjoyable, and healthier life.

You may wonder at what year is my pet a senior. The general guidelines are your pet will reach senior status when they are approximately 7 human years old. Yes, that is
a correct number, 7. At that age, we offer to our patients, "Senior Wellness" at their annual. What this consists of is a more in-depth bloodwork panel that includes
a thyroid test as well as a urinalysis. Both of these enhanced tests along with the normal chemistry, can dictate, how your pet's overall internal organs are functioning. We
encourage this "Senior Wellness" every 6 months and offer it at a discounted price. This year we are going even further, to show how important this is for your pet, we are
offering 10% off of the already discounted price.

On the other end of the "Senior Wellness" is x-rays. We can't tell you how important x-rays are to our seniors, as it can depict certain cancer's, urinary stones, heart
and lung issues and anything that may be happening bone wise.
