She survived being surrendered. She survived starvation. But she almost didn’t survive the shelter. 💔
When Nova was surrendered, she was nothing but skin and bones. Emaciated, unwanted, and ultimately facing euthanasia.
When we came across her plea, we couldn’t look away. We saw a girl who had already lost so much, and we knew she deserved another chance.
That was two months ago. ❤️
Two months of watching her transform. Two months of learning her quirks, her personality, and just how much love this girl has been holding onto.
And let me tell you something about Nova…
This beautiful 5–6-year-old girl has more love to give than she knows what to do with.
I genuinely don’t think we’ve ever worked with a dog quite as affectionate as she is. Nova doesn’t just give hugs. She MELTS into you, as if she’s trying to make up for every moment she went without being loved. 🥹
What breaks my heart is knowing Nova was surrendered while her furry sibling got to stay. Why she was the one left behind, we’ll never understand.
But somehow, she hasn’t given up on people. Not even a little.
Nova was initially so underweight that spay surgery wasn’t safe. Today, she’s gained her weight back and is finally healthy enough to be spayed!
No more being used for breeding. No more being left behind. It’s finally HER turn to be somebody’s baby. ❤️
Nova is ready for the next chapter of her life. One filled with love, security, and a family who will never make her question whether she’s wanted.
We saved her life. Now we need someone to give her a life worth living.

Please share our girl. Somewhere out there is someone who needs Nova’s hugs just as much as she needs theirs. ❤️
