Let me introduce myself! A little about me and the heart behind my business. ❤️
Hi everyone! For those of you who don’t know me yet, my name is Jordyn, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, share a little about my story, and tell you how my pet-sitting journey brought me here to Florida!
I grew up in Maine and New Hampshire, where my love for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. I’ve always had a passion for caring for animals, and I knew I wanted to turn that passion into something meaningful.
The idea behind my pet-sitting business came from something I think so many pet owners can relate to: how hard it can be to find someone you genuinely trust to care for your animals, especially when it means letting someone into your home. Our pets aren’t just pets. They’re family. They’re part of our everyday lives, our routines, and our hearts. Leaving them behind when we travel or have other commitments can be stressful, and knowing they’re in the right hands makes all the difference.
That’s why I wanted to create a business built around trust, compassion, and truly caring for animals as if they were my own.
I started my pet-sitting business in Maine and New Hampshire, building relationships with families and caring for their beloved pets. When I moved down to Florida, I brought my business and my passion with me, excited to start a new chapter and build those same meaningful connections here!
A little fun fact about me: I have three dogs, a snake, and a leopard gecko of my own! I love working with all kinds of animals, and I know firsthand that every animal has their own personality, needs, and little quirks that make them special.
One thing I believe wholeheartedly is that trust is something truly special, and it’s something that has to be earned. Whether it’s a shy pet learning to feel comfortable around me, a dog excitedly greeting me at the door, or an owner finally feeling at ease while they’re away, those are the moments that make what I do so rewarding.
When you book with me, my goal is for you to feel confident knowing your pets are receiving love, attention, and individualized care while you’re away. I want to learn their routines, respect their needs, keep them comfortable in their own environment, and give you peace of mind knowing someone who genuinely cares is looking after them.
As I continue growing my business here in Florida, I’m so excited to meet new families, get to know their furry, scaly, and feathered family members, and build relationships that go beyond just a booking.
