Update on the stolen litter: all 10 puppies have been sold.

Say a prayer, light a candle, send good juju into the universe, manifest their return — whatever practice you choose. My heart breaks for everyone - the breeder, the buyers, and the poor momma borzoi.

This is Sandra’s post/appeal to the innocent puppy buyers on the private buy/sell group on Craig’s List.

Feel free to share.

“Sold on Cookeville TN Craigslist"

Someone stole 10 of my dog's 5 week old puppies from my fenced yard behind my house. A police report was filed yesterday morning with WCSD. Starting late yesterday the thieves put them on Craigs List Cookeville and sold them. I am putting this out there if you bought a 5 week old puppy off Craigslist in the last 24 hours and it looks like one of these please contact me I will buy it back. They aren't old enough to be away from their mom. I don't want anyone to have anymore pain and heartache. Please please return my puppies, do the right thing. Please people share this message however you want, but since this is a private group you may have to copy and paste. You may contact me through private messenger or email

Watch till 2mins for a big red flag. This guy was not dealing with my shenanigans. PSA if you know who i am just say so! Lets talk!

🚩 no clarity on health testing.
🚩 ethical breeders don’t change
more for breeding rights, they are EARNED not BOUGHT

This is for educational purposes. I am not interested in a puppy but if you are, please do your research & ask questions. Speak to people who have previously gotten puppies from said breeder for cross referencing. Ask for proof of titles/health testing results etc. search OFA results on the OFA website, it’s public info, You can search for rescues of the breed you’re looking for. check the shelters. If you must have a puppy you can search the National breed club website of the breed you are looking for. Do not support unethical breeders & puppy mills. Spay & neuter your pets.
